Nice, old-style hotel with big rooms, a restaurant and no elevator (in the "house" - I think there is one in the tower). Friendly, helpful staff and the walk to the Christmas Market is about 15 minutes.

You must expect a dated (but historical) property; but the service is exceptional. Huge menu choice. Some room aspects a little dated (& tired to be honest), but what humans usually like about anything is character. This place has character & worth visiting, even for only 1 or 2 nights. Unless on business, I'd say Craiova is just a stopover point. Be prepared for challenges with roads (on satnav/GPS).

It was a beautiful old hotel full of charm but with modern consciences. I would stay again in an instant! Also, we had to leave early and they graciously gave us a sack breakfast to take with us.

I stayed here for my Spring Vacation. The staff was friendly, inviting, and hospitable. I enjoy my stay everytime I visit Craiova. The food was delicious! I really enjoy their breakfast items. One of my favorite reasons to eat there. I also enjoy playing the piano!

The staff is very inviting. The lounge is very comfortable. I enjoyed the fact they have two pianos, one which I did play. The room I stayed in is very comfortable. The view from the balcony is pleasant. The dining experience was pleasant. I very much enjoyed the breakfast options. There were many things that were within walking distance. I will be staying here again for my vacation.

Although small leaks to the quality of services at the reception and breakfast about the current rules of hygiene and physical distance, otherwise everything was high level.
