Loved my stay there. Lovely rooms

Tewinbury Farm Hotel is an incredible spot. From the grounds, food & drink and room options. We booked a woodland hut for 2 nights. It had more than we expected (air con, ironing board, decent size fridge, hob, toaster etc) was clean and lots of little touches which made it lovely. The bed was full size and lush bedding - we would book again! Had pizza and beer in the courtyard Friday night, which despite how busy it was, was great. They have weddings and events on, but you wouldn’t know it. The only minor let down was breakfast being advertised until 10:30, so we rocked up at 10:15 and there was no hot food left. So get in early if the hotel is busy! Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Nice hotel, limited dining options.

A lovely hotel in gorgeous surroundings, with lots of different options for eating and drinking. We stayed in Oak room which had a mezzanine level. The room was gorgeous but there was a terrible drain smell in the bathroom (usually at night) which filtered through into the main room and if we kept the door shut, it was absolutely disgusting the next morning. I spoke to house keeping who acknowledged the smell and said it was the same in another room where there was no window in the bathroom. Her advice was to keep the windows in the main room open and to leave the bathroom door open. I have a bathroom at home that does not have a window and I don’t have this issue so I think the issue was something to do with the drains rather than a lack of window. I reported the issue to reception at checkout.

Everything was amazing. Only thing that has marked down a star is that the curtains were absolutely rubbish. Far too thin so o was woken up at 5:20am the moment it got light.

We arrived slightly later (21:30) after I checked someone would be there. Was assured 24 hours a day. The chap came into reception on his mobile and was not that bothered we were there, kept the person on his mobile whilst checking us in. We were kind of chosen where we needed to go by ‘our of here, in the car, turn left up the road, through the gates and you’re there’ We did exactly that. Cut to us wandering around in the dark, with no knowledge of where our room is. What’s worse is the room name we had wasn’t listed on any building. I called reception and he reluctantly drove up to help us. Our key cards didn’t work on the main door into our building anyway so even if we had found it, we wouldn’t have gotten in. The chap did go and get us another key and bring it back but after 25 mins of being in the dark and trying every door in a yard area we were a little annoyed.

Tewinbury never disappoints ! This is oir 4th visit and weve stayed in 4 different rooms every room is beautiful, always clean the views are stunning ! The staff are always ever so friendly, so helpful and informative. The food is absolutely delicious!! Cant recommend Tewinbury enough !! There was a soul singer for entertainment she was outstanding and would love to listen to her again !!

Room was much smaller than expected. Stable bar was very quiet, more like a coffee shop on the Friday night. We booked the lakeside hut, which I thought was secluded, & we told to turn music down at 11pm on a Friday when using the small radio provided & told by reception it was after midnight. I believe this was the neighbours complaining as it appears perhaps the room has been split in to two properties with 1 extremely thin wall. We could hear them turn their light switch on in the morning. The receptionist was lovely checking in & super helpful, but the receptionist on Saturday was rude & aggressive & basically called me a liar & saying that the phone call I had with her 10 minutes before ‘those words never came out of my mouth’ which they did. I was very upset & also extremely shocked as we are used to staying in 5 star hotels all over the world & I’ve never been spoken to like this before by a receptionist, total disrespect & awful customer service. The service in the restaurants was very slow & most of the staff seemed like they didn’t care. It’s an absolutely beautiful place but the staff need customer service training. This is really not how I expect to be treated when staying at, what we expected to be a high end retreat. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary & we felt really disappointed. We’d love to comeback but the way I was the felt like I was a school child being spoken down to. Really disappointing. The beautiful scenery was amazing however.

Really lovely location, great service and beautiful room. Well selected amenities too! One issue - our shower screamed when it turned on and wouldn’t stop. Probably an airlock. No quarms however. Great breakfast

The apartment, restaurant, staff, location and free EV charging were all amazing. Unfortunately however, our family room was directly next to the events hall which had events running until late at night. Very music was incredibly loud and kept our children uo. unfortunately had to ask drunken partygoers to not scream and shout outside our door at 2am. As the hotel was fairly quiet I would have hoped they'd move us to a different location. If we had a different room this would have been a perfect getaway.

Staff very good and meal great but layout of the site was confusing. It was across between a winter wonderland and centre parcs. Probably nicer in the summer.
