The location was ideal.

Our trip wouldn't have been complete without this hotel, all the staff, the on site restaurant and the beautiful water views all around! David and his staff are amazing and went above and beyond for me and my family ! The resort is way from town but close enough to reach everything in 5 -10 mins. We felt right at home and cant wait to come back . Thank you all for everything see you soon!!!!!

Great experience at Lina Point Overwater Resort. The resort is truly over the water and is great value. The rooms are nice and comfortable, with fantastic views. The staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. David the manager, plus the regular swimming pool barman, get a special shout-out as being very good at their jobs. Five Stars. We had a fantastic room and stay. The overwater features are unique and fun. All staff were friendly and helpful, even decorating my room with a birthday message. I really liked how quiet and private our cabana was but with the pool, bar and restaurant on site you could also go and interact with others if you wanted. Location is a bit of cart ride from the center of town (15 minutes) but that was a plus for us, we liked the quiet.

The location was great. It’s walkable to the market and close to downtown!

We stayed in the overwater bungalow and it was incredible. The price point was perfect and checked off just what we were looking for. Our bungalow had a private pool, soaking tub looking out to the water, and swings on the porch. Even the floor had plexiglass to allow us to watch the fish underneath. We rented a golf cart and could drive straight to our door. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

People were great! Location was very nice - getting our own golf cart for the week was really helpful for us. David is such a joy to be around and Karen who arranged tours for us was incredibly helpful. Just a nice peaceful and affordable spot. We stayed in the 2 bedroom bungalow and loved the space indoor and outdoor.

Lina Point was simply amazing. David made life so much easier. The rum punch was the best on the island! We had the honeymoon bungalow that was absolutely breathtaking taking. Being able to watch the sunset & sunrise was the highlight of our trip. It is close to everything. 10min to town, 20-25 to secret beach. We felt all of the hospitality. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again David!

Lovely atmosphere and great staff

This property is off the main road at the end of a gated complex. We did rent a golf cart for the week which is necessary. Town is not in walking distance, but an easy/bumpy 15-20 minute ride depending on traffic. We enjoyed our stay, rooms are a bit rustic-we did not have one of the cabanas. Beds comfortable, there's a small refrigerator and a deck to watch the sunset. Perfect for a relaxing quiet vacation. I laid out in the hammock by the pool and read for a couple hours every day! oh, and there's a happy hour before dinner time at the pool bar.

For my birthday, I wanted a unique stay in Ambergris Caye, and Lina Point was the perfect choice! It’s located at the end of a gated property with resorts and rentals, but unlike the rest, this hotel is over the water—a dream come true. The owner greeted us with kindness and got us into our cozy, well-equipped room quickly. Though we didn’t have an underwater-view window, our balcony overlooking the water was stunning. The room had everything—a comfy bed, TV, mini fridge, closet with a safe, and a sleek modern bathroom. The property itself was gorgeous, and the on-site food was fantastic! We ate there multiple times during our 10-day stay. The bar was top-notch, with fun bartenders and great pricing. There’s also an infinity pool, hot tub, and plenty of seating, plus amazing selfie spots throughout. We originally planned 7 days, but made friends who convinced us to extend another 3—which Lina Point easily accommodated. My only small challenge was driving to the property, but once you arrive, it’s pure bliss. For a peaceful, beautiful stay, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lina Point!

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location is central, near downtown but about a 40 minute golf cart ride to Secret Beach. It is not walkable to attractions or the beaches, so we recommend renting a golf cart. The property is located in a quiet, secure community. Our room was located above the office and was clean and spacious. There is a small closet area with hangers, a safe for your belongings, and they provided safe drinking water in our room. We enjoyed grabbing coffee from the restaurant each morning and sitting on our deck to enjoy the views. Wifi was not reliable, unfortunately. Beach towels are provided. We did not utilize the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. Be aware that you cannot flush toilet paper at this resort. Music coming from the restaurant can be loud at night. It didn't really bother us, but might be annoying for others who like to turn in early. The only thing we would change is the mattress/bed frame. Very noisy, creaking. Every time we turned over in the night, we'd wake each other up. Overall, we would recommend this resort.

My stay was absolutely fantastic overall. The hospitality was wonderful, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. My only minor concern was that the room felt somewhat dated and could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some updated amenities. The bathroom was lovely, though, and one doesn't spend all their time in the room anyway. The food and drinks were the best on the island, and the overall experience was very relaxing.

David at reception helped promptly and professionally with an electrical problem When we arrived. It was fixed very quickly.Karen was a huge help with scheduling and then rescheduling a great snorkel trip. Cleaning staff was fabulous. Bungalow was perfect including the plunge pool and the bed was nice. Zero complaints and 5 stars

We loved the veiw didnt like that elec went out for 12 hrs. The staff was awsome and so helpful.
