If stays for one night and under the budget then the place is bearable to stay.

Great value

place was very small, but clean. Our stay was comfortable. Nothing special about the place in particular, but there was a continente (Grocery store) right next to the place, which was very convenient. It was also in the middle of all tourist spots, so we were able to walk around everywhere. A good comfortable stay

Cheap and convenient, which is what we needed. Supermarket across the road. Kitchen with fridges and cooking equipment available. The property and rooms are old and somewhat damaged (cracked tiles, melted bath, leaky sink) and I wouldnt have liked to stay longer than we did. The property is noisy too, even with ear plugs in I was woken up by people snoring and clomping up the stairs early morning.

The guest house’s location is very comfortably to walk for visiting some famous places. Any elderly or wheel chair should not stay here , because they cannot clim up the 3 levels wood stairs . In general , it s good for young customer .

The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own.

The reception staff was friendly, and the decor was clean and simple. Easily walkable to all areas.

Have no fear about booking this place. It is clean, charming, affordable and central. It is not a five-star hotel, but it is a five-star value for money. The naysayers are the usual crowd who want the Ritz-Carlton for hostel prices.

Nice property. Good location. Close to train station. Everything is walkable. Room is spacious, clean, across the hall from washroom. Sink in room is nice to have. Beds are comfortable.

The good: central location, inexpensive. Front desk personnel are friendly. The bad: the condition of the property isn't great. Noisy due to road traffic. No AC. The ugly: no elevators, and up to 3 flighs of stairs! No parking.

This property has very friendly staff. Expedia must inform guests about the late check in ways. Sometimes is not possible to check in early and staff is not there 24 hours a day. This property had comfortable beds and is clean. The location is very convenient for travelling as is between the train station and the coach station. You can easily get to the touristy points by foot. Enjoy it.

Upon arrival the door was locked. We had communication problems with the person checking us in. We appreciated that she did use Google translate to deal with it.

The receptionist are very helpful 🙂,easy to get around the city, the shops and few restaurants close by deffo go back the again

Very nice place. Separate rooms not room in one apartment. Many rooms with your own show and toilets. Quite not crowded.Clean,closed,5-15 min walking distance from everywhere.Nice people. Highly recommend. Dmitry

Good for a one night stay. It's perfect for what I needed. Spacious, clean and there is a TV. Close to a bar as well. And a quick walk to the main street with all the restaurants and tourists things. Also close to Coimbra -B, the train station I used to get in and out of Coimbra. About 20min walk.

DON'T STAY HERE. On one side of my room was constant traffic from a main road. On the other side were doors opening and closing loudly, people walking up and down the corridor and talking loudly. Then (this is the best bit) somebody decided to do the washing up loudly at 1am. This countinued for around 45 minutes, after which they moved furniture around on the floor above me for 15 minutes!

The hostel is in a good location within walking distance of several points of interest. The room was tiny with limited electrical outlets. Given the low price, this was a good option for a place to sleep.

This is not a 2 star hotel. It's a one star. It's in a great location, central but the condition of the room was very poor except that it was clean. Examples, we had a problem with the door lock to open the door to get out of the room. The doors dont fit well the door frames. The only light that worked in the bathroom was over the wash basin. There was only one electric socket in the room and it was in a bad place at the bottom of one of the beds. The window was broken so the street noise and cold air are coming in all the time at night. The walls are thin. I had to listen, with my 17 year old son to a couple next door having sex 3 times one night. If you want cheap and a place to put your head at night it's fine but it's not a family hotel. There was no one there to pay at early morning checkout and I ended up having to do a bank transfer afterwards. Hotels.com give the option to pay at the hotel but that wasn't possible.
