Firstly, the entire staff from reception to housekeeping were outstanding. They are overworked and underpaid but still keep smiling. Special mention to Nat from housekeeping.
Let's start with the negatives. Arriving at 3 p.m. after a long flight with a business meeting at 5 p.m., I was informed there were NO towels available until 7 p.m. This is completely unacceptable. They should have followed me to Emporium and bought some. Also, no water in the room when I arrived.
TV was not smart. Channel selection bizarre. How can you have Saudi TV but not have Sky News? Probably the same reason why there were no pork sausages at breakfast perhaps?
Breakfast service impeccable again as was the egg station. However, completely cold baked beans???
They have a nice app where you can order housekeeping items, very good. Also asked to provide feedback and promised contact from Guest Relations Officer but nothing happened. Bed and bathroom excellent with good supplies. Location not perfect as a 10 min walk along narrow pavement to BTS.
I would stay here again just because of the lovely staff, however I may have to pack some towels.
