Best place to stay in Cartagena by far. I had an amazing time.

This property has a lot to offer. The staff is kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and have in-unit AC. The rooftop bar is cute and charming at sunset. The location is fantastic, right in the center of their city. The streets are active in the summer (all day and all night). The complementary breakfast is delicious (and you can call it in via room service for no extra charge). The only thing to consider is that the walls are thin, but with all the activities in Cartagena, you will sleep like a rock!

The hotel was in a central location to the activities that we were doing in my group. The concept of the hotel was cute but there were things that made my experience less than desirable. I had issues with my room such as the tv not working, the safe not working, the ac leaking, the smoke alarm going off when I would take a shower and a random beeping nose that constantly went off during the last night of my stay. I also found the towels and linens to be dingy and stained. The staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The food in the bar was pretty good.

Amazing hotel!! Private, safe, quiet but close to the action. Friendly staff and amazing amenities. Perfect spot to relax but also hit the walled city and all the action close by.

The hotel is fine. In a busy area. Could benefit from a phone in the room to communicate with reception and a small fridge for guests.

Really cool trendy place to stay. We had a private plunge pool on our balcony that really helped to beat the heat of the day!

Excellent property

This gorgeous boutique hotel is exactly as pictured. The staff is super friendly, and the breakfast (included) is delicious. The hotel has been thoughtfully designed so it is a really harmonious experience being there. A huge bonus is their sister resort, the Blue Apple on Tierra Bomba island. Guests of the Townhouse don't pay a day pass fee for travel to and from and use of Blue Apple's facilities. There is a port fee to pay (if I remember correctly it was about $80 for four people), and you do pay for your food and drink, but this was a wonderful surprise for us, as we'd expected to pay $80 - $100 each for a day pass to an island resort for a beach day. Also good to know: the old city in Cartagena is a boisterous place, but the hotel's windows/doors are very soundproof, so we always slept soundly. Anyhow, 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay at Townhouse Boutique Hotel! It's inside the walled city so you are close to EVERYTHING. My room was clean and bright. The food was good as well. Also, every staff member was polite and accommodating. My only complaint is that my bathroom was super small. We had a hard time maneuvering around in it. You basically have to step into the shower to close and open the door while in there. The space is entirely too small for a regular door. A pocket door is what's needed. I still would not hesitate to stay there again. One bonus was that you can take a boat to their sister resort on an island for free. You only have to pay the $4 port tax and food and drinks while there. The staff and food on the island were just as good!

I really would have loved to give this hotel 5 stars, however due to 2 issues I can not. I will start by saying our actual suite room was modern, spacious, clean and exactly what was pictured. The only form on communication with the front desk staff is via WhatsApp and they are very responsive. We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and during our stay the elevator was “out of service” for a majority of our time. However, since the elevator is glass you could see it being used by the workers to bring items up to the rooftop at times during this period. The reason we picked this hotel compared to ours in the area was because I was traveling with my older mother and they had an elevator. Out of our 4 days there, here was only 2 times when the elevator was working. Since the morning breakfast was on the roof, she was not able to walk all the way up there and utilize that amenity. In addition, one day there was construction “maintenence” that started before 8am. There was no notification that this would be occurring the night before and therefore we were woken up to hammering. If it weren’t for this two issues, our stay otherwise was good.

Fantastic property, rooms are very clean and lovely. Very well located in the Old City. Staff is fantastic and very willing to help. The rooftop bar is fun and has a lovely view the sunset. Some street/bar noise at lower level but not bothersome.

Overall property was good, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Loved the rooftop restaurant with a live DJ everyday around 1PM. Disappointed with the pool as it was in the restaurant area and quite small. Felt awkard getting in so it was a pass for us. Looked much larger in the pictures.

Our family really enjoyed the location of the hotel. We also enjoyed the supper club experience. On Friday and Saturday night, it is very noisy and there is bar downstairs that is very loud. Overall our experience was good, I liked the intimate feeling of the smaller hotel and being able to communicate via WhatsApp with the staff was great
