The location was great, easy access/walk to everywhere in the town. The place was super clean and the had the characters. The hostesses and staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part was the breakfast, lots of options and freshly prepared. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and fellow travelers.

What a wonderful and charming place to stay with everything within walking distance like sightseeing places, boat tours, cafes and restaurants The host Patricia is wonderful and very attentive most of all very welcoming and informative

Lovely place with nice furniture and beautiful main room. Breakfast was truly excellent ---including local cheese, coffee and jams--- and the host was very helpful. It is right in the Centro Histórico of Paraty, close to where the boats leave from. Many restaurants close by.

Splendid experience, more of a home stay than a hotel, the house only hosts 3 rooms. We felt immediately at home, the staff are your lifelong friends the moment you step in.

Patricia (who speaks impeccable English) is a longtime resident of the area with many connections who is able to give recommendations for dinner or boating or history walks. She also serves a variety of very local fruits, coffee, butter, cachaça, etc. truly hospitable and highly recommended for a personal experience

Patricia has made our trip to Paraty a unique and memorable experience. Everything from the amazing breakfast with baked goods and fresh exotic local fruits to the hand made natural soaps have made this an excellent stay. You can’t ask for a more generous and thoughtful host.

This was the most stunning place with the most incredibly helpful host. The breakfasts were amazing and the property was beautiful. It was walking distance to everything (bars, restaurants, shops) and the host helped with finding transportation to exciting beaches that were about 10 kilometers away. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place!

We had a lovely visit to Paraty and Patrice was a great host. When we arrived the street on which the b&b sits was flooded because of the full moon (a typical occurrence). No problem! Patrice found us and took our bags while we were able to roam the charming town and wait off the water to recede. The breakfast is amazing and she had some great recommendations for us. Loved it and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Staying at Casa de Paulo Autran was more than a nice place to lay your head and take a shower. It was truly an experience. We stayed in Paratay with a large group and we were the only group who did not stay at a more traditional hotel, and we are so glad we chose this place! You can see the water as you step out the front door. The owner gave us amazing dining recommendations, had umbrellas ready for us when it rained, towels ready for us before our boat tour. The home cooked breakfast was the highlight of our stay. We hope to be back!
