Great location as a base to explore. Walking distance to Borough market and London Bridge station. Countless food options within walking distance. Friendly and helpful front desk staff (particularly Izzy) guided us in the right direction and suggested food spots. Our room could use a touch up (various scuffs and flaked paint on walls, air vent cover was missing, etc.). The hotel could also have vending options for water, drinks, snacks, etc. You have to leave the property to pick up a drink which sucks when it’s pouring rain. All-in-all I would suggest a stay.

Great location, easy check in and modern clean space.

The room was pretty clean although with a few signs of being lived in and not cleaned properly. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly and the water never got fully cold from the tap (probably due to the cold and hot lines being next to each other). We were also woken in the night by other guests coming back to their rooms due to the walls being quite thin.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Native Bankside and we enjoyed our stay there. The location was great, staff were friendly, the room was very spacious and clean, and there was a well organized kitchen in the room. Only downside is there are no views in the room but the spaciousness of the room made up for it.

We returned to Native Bankside in January 2026 for 1 night only (previous stay was in 2019). Sadly this accommodation is not what it once was. We stayed in a One-bedroom "Premium" Apartment but it was anything but. The primary problems were with the condition and cleanliness of the apartment, some examples were - stained and filthy dining chairs, balls of hair on the floor, a blocked dishwasher which was smelly, a cracked cooking hob, threadbare/tatty carpets and skylight blinds (providing the only natural light in the living area) which didn't function. We were also disappointed to find that the communal pantry that was previously offered is now an empty "lounge". Unfortunately either time or the ownership change has not been kind to this property and we would not recommend or return.

Great room, great stay, very close to borough market

Clean, comfortable, well supplied kitchen.

Great space and comfort - ideal for a few days of stay. The heating/air con in the room was quite hard to control or get just right, but overall our stay was very comfortable and easy, and we were near lots of restaurants/pubs and easy onward travel around the city.

Room was clean, lobby was nice.

Room was outdated, small bathroom, dirty carpets, no in room service.
