The hotel receives three and a half stars out of five but we found thst over generous. It claims a 24/7 reception but there was no one in reception when we arrived. Our room number and access code were written on a folded (and sealed) piece of paper.
The rooms are in a seperate block with a vending machine and microwave just jnside the entrance. Not what we were expecting for 3.5 stars.
The carpet in the hallway is quite old and there are stairs down to the last few rooms, making it a little difficult to navigate with heavy roller cases.
The room was clean but very basic. Their was a message apologizing that the TV had no connection and saying that the hotel was waiting for a service person to fix the problem. This was in October. We looked at other reviews from June that talked of the same problem! The wifi did work well tho', so we watched "TV" on our laptop.
Some of the 5 star reviews were given because of excellent restaurant food. That seems to be based on recommendations to a local restaurant. The hotel does not serve diner.
Breakfast was good, with lots of fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, and hot food etc. The breakfast staff were very helpful.
