At first glance it’s just a shitty old hotel. But it has many good points! I loved it. Firstly, the staff (like everyone I met in Obama) were wonderful, the young staff were particularly impressive. I had a superb (not cheap) crab dinner the first night. They have 2 onsens, coin laundry, a nice gift shop and a great location. I urge you to visit Obama - wonderful small town. I asked for seaview, they apologized that it was not possible. I get to the room and do have a sea view (see photo), slightly oblique, but still very good from the balcony. The room was pretty good. My only complaint was the tatami mats were a little dusty. I recommend they mop them once or twice a week.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the train station and lots of local restaurants. The hotel has two onsen areas, an outdoor bath on the first floor and an indoor bath on the fourth floor. The rooms have tatami mat flooring but with beds. The window had sliding paper doors and no curtains, this might be an issue in summer. Good AC. Free onsite parking.

A fairly old & basic budget hotel with sea view rooms at this little town called Obama. We stayed here as arranged by the tour group. Room was & facilities were old. Wi-Fi was slow at night when hotel guests were perhaps all browsing internet after dinner. Public bath area was fairly small.

Rooms were clean and ours had a great view! Dinner was a bit challenging for foreigners like ourselves but the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Would recommend!

Very nice place 👍👍👍 But there is smoking and bad smell in the room 😟😟😟
