It gave us great access to the hike up Philipappos Hill for The Acropolis view. Just up the road was the Food Hall where we got some lovely meals. Reception fella was lovely. Breakfast had good choices

Convenient location within walking distance to the Acropolis site, and only two blocks away from Subway red line, making easy connection to other lines, like blue to/from airport.

I recommend this hotel for budget travellers. The hotel is basic but it is clean, close to metro station, safe neighborhood, friendly staff, close to eateries and the free breakfast has so many selection. I would stay here again in case I come back to Athens.

Nice hotel in central location

Breakfast was provided however there was not much choice for healthy options ie more choice with fruit only apples. The egg with runnersbeans had run out at 9.15am when breakfast is served until 10.30am

Our room had a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom. We mentioned it to the reception and were promised it will be addressed the next day. It was never addressed during our 8 day stay. There is no room for toiletries next to the sink. The shower system needed some fiddling with to get it right and it was in dire need to be replaced. This is the first hotel I stayed in were there are no glass made glasses allowed in the room! You get two old, scratched, disgusting plastic cups that should have been recycled 50 years ago! Any other hotel we stayed in Greece provides complementary bottled water, not Syngrou FIx. The breakfast is good. It has cold cuts, cheese and spinach pies, eggs, fruits cheese, Greek yogurt etc. However, there seem to be more than one property that is using this breakfast area so it gets very crowded and it runs out of room quickly. We will not stay here again.

room was much bigger than i was expecting. central easy to walk to acropolis and monastiraki also close to transit. staff was very helpful, and my husband loved breakfast.

It was walking distance to the Acropolis and Museum, close to Plaka and Monestarika. Very convenient. Nice neighborhood restaurants too.

Great hotel in a great location.

Small, nice hotel within 200 yards from metro station...we arrived around noon well ahead of check in time and they said no problem - your room is ready,what a good surprise.Very nice and welcoming staff.Excellent breakfast served with some great typical Greek food items.Close to main thoroughfare but sound proof windows takes care of it - you sleep perfect.Walking distance to Akropolis,Plaka & ruins of Zeus Temple and tours meeting point which we took....Highly recommend!
