Beyond Exceptional! Exquisitely clean, incredibly inexpensive beer prices, super friendly owner, staff, and local patrons. Big room with windows that opened up to the meadow. Food was great!! A must stop from on while on the Camino or in the area. Only recommendation, larger trash can in room :)

Close to the bus stop and Navarette church. It is very clean. We got a big room with comfortable bed and pillows. Highly recommended if you're staying in Navarette.

Clean and convenient on the Camino path

Very clean and facilities were great. The only criticism was when I tried to enter the bar area a few minutes early for breakfast and one of the staff was very dismissive.

Great albergue! Vibe in restaurant was friendly and fun. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is good for the price and location. It is clean and provides private rooms. Pilgrims menu was good enough and breakfast is available at the bar. Staff was helpful when approached.

best spot I have stayed in, most welcoming

The sign on the property says "Hostal Rural" and that captures the feel of the place. The village of Espinal (Spanish name)/Aurizberri (Basque name) is only 10 minutes' walk from one end to the other and it is on one of the paths to El Camino de Santiago de Compostela. So, there are many places for pelligrinos (pilgrims) making the journey to stay and it is surrounded by rural fields. There is a pub/restaurant downstairs that is well attended by locals and travellers alike, serving good, plentiful, traditional food and drink. The rooms are not modern, but clean, well enough equipped and comfortable. The staff are very helpful but my woeful Spanish (and non-existent Basque) made communication slightly difficult at times. I only stayed one night and by myself, so I didn't get "the full experience". Anyway, it was great for me and I recommend it.

Nice and accommodating staff

The property is newer and nice and the staff helpful but I think it’s unacceptable to not provide soap in the restrooms. When I asked they gave me a little packet of liquid soap. Was I supposed to carry it around and use it everytime I needed soap?

Check us in early and was friendly. Waitress was not too friendly as we do not speak spanish. Meat was served raw.

Wifi upstairs could have been better. There is an area with couches to relax in, but wifi strength was minimal at best.
