clean room, and the owner is friendly

There were small cockroaches that came out at night and kept us from sleeping well. The owners were very nice but either not aware and the shower leaked. The cocking had worn off making the shower slippery and dangerous. We notified them and they assured us they would fix it for the next tenant

El apartamento está suuper!! Me gustó mucho, lo único es que hay ruidos por ratos y asusta jaja, pero super cómodo y con todas las amenidades que ni me imaginé! Volveria a hospedarme aqui sin duda.

Had a great stay here. Owners very friendly and spoke English.The water pressure in shower was amazing.15 minute walk into centre. Uber eats delivered to us without any problem. Merida people very friendly and go out of their way to help!

The property was very dirty. It looked like they had not swept and mopped in ages. They had a severe ant problem. They were even in the closet! The bed was very smelly. I'm not sure if they actually cleaned the sheets and blanket after every guest. It was about a 23-25 minute walk to the main plaza and ubers were about 60- 115 pesos to the main plaza. Property owner was very nosy and that was a bit unsettling. They did not provide much information on how to get around or any information on what was around. We had to explore and ask around. Locals aren't very helpful in trying to help travelers. Overall the biggest concern was the cleanliness of the property and the ant issue.

Fantastic stay and great value for money. Very clean and comfy bed. Coffee maker and all basics to make a non-complex meal. Really kind and sweet host. I’d stay again

When we arrived there, we were informed that there had been a problem with our reservation and that the appartment was unavailable although we had booked more than a month in advance. We were offered an alternative elsewere, but the place had poor reviews. We ended up choosing to book somewhere else last minute which was more expensive that what we originally planned.

The hosts were lovely people. The property was not exactly as we expected so it wasn't quite suitable for our particular needs. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood and there are some fairly decent choices for dining or groceries.

This place is going to blow your mind. I stayed at several places in Merida including a 5 star and I think this was still my favorite. Such a great value, quiet area, and very clean. You feel like you have your own apartment here definitely recommend

Great location, Excellent accomodations.

Very pleasant. Good price. Friendly people. Easy to check in and check out. Proprietor Ishmael sent me to a great place about a minute away to grab a beer and some food. Convenient to the center of Merida - about 12 minute walk or so. Plenty of good local places for food, beer, groceries whatever within 3-4 minute walk. Highly recommend.

Beautiful efficiency apartment located in the upstairs of a private residence. Need to pass through a front door into a lobby with a staircase that leads up to two apartments. Therefore, an extremely secure and private location. The family lives behind a door that also connects to the lobby and is available whenever needed. A little far from the center of town, but walkable. Grocery store next door. Near an excellent restaurant called Wayan e that hat great tacos and tortas and great prices. also not far from the Folkart Museum. Very nice people who want to accommodate their guests.

great hosts. Phone number doesn't work on hotels.com. No deposit required. Very convenient and a 9-11 min walk from the centro. Has everything you need for longer stays as well. Internet was great

We enjoyed staying in a true neighborhood. It was not a tourist area. It was quiet and we were able to sit on the little balcony and enjoy the many birds. Ismael was an excellent host. He attended to every request quickly and with a smile. He made us very very welcome and comfortable.

El depto 4 tiene nada mas lo necessario. Al lado de la caille esta ruidoso. Nos quedabamos una semana. Diario matabamos muchos bichos!
