Bed was comfortable but that’s about as good as it gets. The room looked tired and worn. There were marks on the sheets, a dirty towel on the floor upon entering the room and the floor was in dire need of a good vacuuming. For the price of £80+ I expect better. I would have said £40-£45 per night would be a more realistic price point.

Staff were lovely - nothing was too much trouble, rooms a little bit tired but good value for money. Would stay again.

This small hotel was well located not far from the M6 motorways with a supermarket and shops nearby. There was an excellent big pub only a couple of minutes from the hotel which served good food and had a comfortable large bar / restaurant with lots of seating outside. We had breakfast and dinner in the pub and a few drinks outside in the sunshine. We would stop there again if in the Preston area.

Mediocre but well worth the money with a hungry horse next door

Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts.

Basic, but good, overnight accomodation and a pleasant four night solo stay.. Well located for exploring the area.

Ok room in need of a deep clean and general repairs, broken wooden frame around the toilet. Dirty net curtains in the room. Bed was comfortable though and there was a fan in the room. Only one bath towel which was noticed too late to request another so had to use a hand towel after shower. Would not stay again.

Was ok, on arrival I was concerned about the first impressions, but in all fairness it did the job. It's very basic but I have certainly stayed in worse places. I'd stay here again no problem.

Very reasonably priced, basic but worked well with location … we toon £5 uber to very good Indian restaurant close by… would use again for sure if working close by
