I like the service and location. Beautiful lodge!

The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep.

Amazing 15th century house. The rooms are furnished with period correct antiques. Very friendly and accommodating staff. A real gem.

The owner was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. He’s a very good cook. Excellent local wine at reasonable prices. Would definitely stay again.
