Such a great place

The rooms/units are adjacent to the pub which has outdoor speakers mounted along every wall - music going from time checked in till after 10.30p - loud enough that heavy rain & the tv didn’t drown it out

Was good clean bit noisy with pub was Saturday night

Historical hotel, kept up to the nice quality!

The room was comfortable and fairly clean, and the central location on Main Street was very convenient. The only issue was the noise at night due to the bar and restaurant—loud music and crowds until around 12–1 AM. It might have been worse because we visited during Easter.

Clean room

The room was clean and smelled fresh. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. However, there was one issue. We booked a double room with one queen bed, but were given a room with one queen bed and one single bed instead, that is fine, but the room was also in a less desirable location — it was next to the bar and facing the hotel entrance, so it was a bit noisy.

Comfortable and very clean accommodation. My room felt secure and safe while travelling on my own. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Only spent one night at the Caledonian Inn, but would have been happy with more. Our room was newly renovated and in great condition. Large and lots of room for bags. The bathroom was also very large, had a great shower and more shelf space that in any other hotel room we've stayed in. The mattress was really comfortable. Solid wifi available throughout. Checkin was a breeze. No need to contact the hotel in advance, you can just approach staff at the bar. We dined at the pub and the food was good. We stayed on a Thursday night, so it wasn't so loud, but the hotel does let guests know there is loud music on a Friday and Saturday.

This hotel was an unexpected delight. Room new and lovely. Everything you need right there and the restaurant was fabulous. Loved this place!!

Convenient and comfortable refurbished motel room with easy parking. Cleaning staff were helpful and the room was spotless.

Basic room but fine for one night

Great restaurant and bar. Convenient location. Room has good amenities. Parked right next to the room door was great. Tap water not great but the motel provides bottled water in the fridge which was great. We always prefer to support small town motels and communities. They are friendlier and less expensive.
