Amazing period property maintained to the highest standard! If you love wonky doors, sloping floors, original oak beams and all things old and characterful this is the place for you! Not only was the property and gardens beautiful, the owner was friendly, fun and good company. She provided us with a superb breakfast which kept us going for the rest of the day! Being an old cottage, the stairs to the bedrooms may be an issue if you have mobility problems but that is the only reason not to stay in this property. You will get the best night's sleep in your whitewashed beamed peaceful bedroom and will not want to leave. Superb!!!

So interesting, so good taste, so friendly and this is a special treatment for us. Tired of big hotels and this makes a completely different experience, still keeping a fabulous bathroom. Master bedroom is must. There are very nice dining spots nearby too. Farm Deli is the must.

Anna is terrific. Breakfast was perfect. Need to be aware that the stairs are narrow spiral and doorways are low. Cottage is spotless and beautifully decorated.

Lovely old character building, beautifully furnished, beautiful garden, great host, lovely breakfasts. Ceilings are low, so possibly not great for tall guests on long stays, but otherwise an excellent place to stay in a lovely setting and village.
