There is hair on my bed sheets that is not mine. The place is old and basic with a lot of mosquitoes and a dead cockroach. Room is dim and aircon is not cold. The link from the booking is also wrong. There is no “boutique” word on the actual site so it’s quite confusing. Oh yes, the band next door played till past 11pm!

There is standard wallmount remote AC works fine. Staff was helpful when asked. Based on other reviews mentioning towels, the front board says to ask for towels don't expect them to be provided without asking. The small minifridge is enough to hold drinks or a few meals. The location is close to everything. Note all banks in Tulum do not do currency changes the exceptions are Kapital 500 USD or more only and Azteka which is on the otherside of town, there are however local casa de cambios nearby. Tons of restraurants and food vendors. It is just a street or two down from the mainstreet. I encountered no issues on my two day stay except I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work. WIFI functioned fine you get the code at checkin. Limited wall outlets so if you have a bunch of things to plugin you may have to unplug stuff. Some lights worked I couldn't figure out how to turn on a couple others. They had hot water and the soap/shampoo smells great here, great bodywash/shampoo scent. Toilet paper was slightly fruit scented good ply. Was not noisy but this likely dpends on room position I was at the far end away from the street so getting a room on the farend may be useful if you want to sleep in. There is an error in the map location shown by hotels.com use the actual address supplied for the location the map showed a different location within the hotels.com app might be a point of confusion.

The room looks nice at first and has enough for a place to stay and sleep but there was 2 cockroaches that came during our 3 day stay but the area is a good spot . It’s nice to stay and sleep and located near a 7/11 and good area but be aware of bugs

This is a basic hotel but provides all you need with TV , private bathroom and small fridge I have stayed there twice and alway been fantastic value ,one of best value hotels I have found in Mexico.

Clean room. Good price and location

Staff were friendly, although there was a scorpion in our room and they did a poor job cleaning there was an old tomato and pepper in the fridge. But the price was good.

Installations are very old and dirty. during my stance in this place never clean up my room.

the rooms are pretty subpar, broken tile everywhere, the locks non existent, and noise during the night quite high. don't expect hot water.

Hi I stayed two separate occasions at this place. It’s very whimsical. The owner has put tons of art all over the place which added to the plants and the abundance of light makes it definitely awesome. It’s more unique than the other places i’ve stayed in Mexico. there’s a cute little breakfast lunch spot in it that’s full of locals which to me means a lot of things. all positive. it is pretty central and the bus stations like five blocks away. The only negative and this is for all hotels in the center is that the taxis do charge a lot to get down to the beach area. But there is a “collectivo” (shared bus w mostly locals. I use for 40 pesos to get there during the day, which isn’t a problem. the better Restaurants like Negra Huitlacoxe and a bunch of Local spots, also the live music (Batay Palma Central & Mercado Centreau are favorites) seems to all be over here in the center so that’s why I prefer to stay over here. Very safe, very clean, 11am checkout which I prefer. I will stay here and at their other spot in Bacalar again. I’m off to Hol Box. peace out! Nicholas V from NYC!

I tried multiple times getting in contact (calling, texting and emailing) with the contact number, and no one ever answered me back. The expedia says that we have to get in contact since they don’t have front desk… so I got desperate. Ended up they do have front desk (and they were very nice and I had a fast check in), so I stressed out for nothing. The room was really really simple which I wouldn’t mind based on the price… but although the sheets were clean… the blanket and the pillows were smelling terrible!!!! They just offered towels at the end of the night. And there was a lot of mold in the walls… I wouldn’t get back although the location is great.

Very comfortable bed, beautiful decoration air conditionning and fridge in the room

Pros- Good price and you are close to alot of restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Cons-There were multiple blood stains on the pillow and bed sheets. There was mold in pretty much every location in this specific room (not sure if the other rooms are like this). Lastly, there was only cold water.

Wonderful little place to stay! Would recommend for those not looking for something to fancy. Many taco stands right by as well as restaurants and bars. Gates get locked at night so very safe amd pretty quiet. Wonderful helpful staff! Warm water and a decent breakfast was included. :)

very basic place in an excellent location. friendly staff. in the share kitchen no knife/fork / salt paper. i booked it because it said kitchen in the room..... no microwave or pot to boil eggs or pan to fry something. good place for overnight or a base to travel during the day and back to rest.

Amazing stay

Never found the place, and phone numbers where out of service. Was left stranded with nowhere to go.

First place this hotel doesn's exist,I spend1hour in front of the address provided and nobody know I pay pay extra fee for the taxi looking for and the GPS mark accordingly the address but nobody know,at the end and the taxi driver tired of it he drop me around this address in a hostal to expend the night and the next day look for another decent hotel. Im going to claim my money back.
