Stayed here on 8th and 9th June and had a wonderful experience. From the parking area to check-in, everything was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. A special shout-out to the breakfast team, especially Mdm Munis and Miss Nurin, for their warm hospitality and excellent service. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and ensured we had a pleasant start to our day. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay enjoyable!

The staff were really good. Very fast response, got complimentary cake as requested. My kids enjoyed their time being there and refused to go home. Will repeat again.

Room was a bit rundown and quite old. Luckily arrived early before check-in time, as after 3 PM it was a long queue to check in. Ample parking lots, just a bit of walking.

Special requests were ignored, check-in service was disappointing, parking was not arranged, breakfast was overcrowded with fewer food choices, and crows were seen around the food area, raising hygiene concerns.

The place and location are strategic, there are many great restaurants outside, the accommodation is all ok, the only problem is the birds nearby, everything else I am satisfied with.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Golden Sands from 10–12 April 2026 to celebrate my 50th birthday, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The magic began the moment I arrived on the evening of 10 April; the stunning fireworks display at 10:30 PM was a wonderful surprise that set the perfect tone for my stay. My room also offered a breathtaking view, perfectly overlooking Batu Ferringhi beach. While there was a brief inquiry regarding permissions for my birthday photoshoot on the grounds on 11 April, the Front Office Manager, Mr. Weng, handled the situation with grace and professionalism. He settled everything quickly, ensuring I could fully enjoy my special day. My sincere thanks to the entire team and Mr. Weng for their excellent hospitality!

At we coming to the room, the bathub full of water and the drain stuck. We asked the room not far from lift, but given far from lift.

my kid very enjoy the kid's pool. also got some activities. breakfast also got kid area. but sound proof not so good.
