Nicly renovated, good breakfast

Absolutely adored this hotel. Great location (shops & restaurants nearby, beach ditto!) and a beautiful pool & breakfast buffet. Our room had a lovely balcony with a sea view. An affordable mini luxury!

We enjoyed the location and had a restful stay. The breakfast was excellent. We arrived to find someone’s hair on our pillowcases, which was very unpleasant.

Everything was great bed, food , facilities and area. Cleaning in bathroom was not lots of long black hair on the floor and walls. Still i would go back.

Clean & friendly staff

Nice hotel. Our room was lovely. We had a partial sea view room. The view was spectacular. We were on the quiet side looking at the neighbours rather than the pool. The balcony was large. It was a pleasure to sit and relax outside. The pool is large. Busy. Bring a towel or rent one for 4 Euros. Pool side entertainment was sad. The employees did not look like they enjoy their jobs. Buffet breakfast was vast. Many options. Our room could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom. The vibe is family vacation.

This is a 3* hotel but in many ways it is equivalent to 4*. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a terrace and excellent ait-conditioning. It does look like there has been a recent renovation. The hotel is bang on the promenade with numerous fantastic beaches within walking distance or accessible by the little train which runs through L'Escala.

Nice family friendly hotel with big and nice pool and outside area. Balconies are nice and offer view of the sea!

Nice big room. Nice breakfast. Two issues: onsite parking was full by mid-afternoon; and a queen size bed turned into two double. Had to park quite ways away on the street. Hotel staff appeared to be aware of the insufficient onsite parking situation but there wasn't anything they could do about it.

We stopped by for an overnight stay and were primarily attracted by the reasonable room rates and availability offered. I was led to believe we would have 'partial sea views', however this was definitely not the case. Our room was 118 and towards the rear of the hotel. A really well apponted room, recently renovated with lots of room for luggage and bags. Comfortable beds and good quality fittings. The swimming pool was a definite winner and surprisingly deep. We ate out for the evening and enjoyed a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. A decnt assortment of english and continental breakfast available. The dining area was not as lavish as the room but was of no real importance. Secure and reasonabley priced offstreet parking was available and gratefully accepted.

It was excellent. I have been staying in L’Escala for many years but have never stayed in the Nieves Mar and have to say it was excellent, great room, great breakfast and good pool and outdoor area

Good location on seafront with on-site parking at €10/day. Nice view from balcony and good selection for breakfast. Good value for overnight stay.
