Whenever I come to Udon Thani, I always stay here. It's convenient, located in the heart of the city, and the food is delicious.

The service staff were excellent, from the valet parking attendant to the breakfast staff and check-in staff. The breakfast menu rotates with a wide variety of options. It's located in the city center with plenty of parking. The only downside is the pub; on some nights after it closes, the noise from conversations in the parking lot can be heard in the rooms. If you're not a light sleeper, you can manage, but those who are light sleepers might find this a bit of a problem. Overall, it meets the standards of a 4-5 star hotel. The price is reasonable, considered good value for money.

Udonthani is a beautiful village town in central Thailand. The hotel is well-priced and has a new location. It's quiet. The staff are friendly and polite. The service is good. The cleanliness is good. Near Central Mall 🏬

The Charoen hotel is always a good value accommodation option, the location is not bad, staff are great and the facilities good. The only downside would be the very hard beds if you don't like that. Also if the reception staff read the requests area of the booking form it would save a bit of time on arrival and settling into the hotel. These items were addressed but was an inconvenience at the time. Overal a very good hotel :-)

The hotel is old but the rooms are newly renovated, very clean and the lighting in the rooms is very good.

The condition of the gym is not good to use. The equipment looks old. The bathroom area is very narrow. At the price of almost 1,000 baht for booking through the app, if you walk in, the price is 1,000 baht, which is considered expensive and not worth the price.

This is the oldest hotel establishment in Udon Thani area, so the building is definitely a vintage type. Service was excellent throughout my stay, right from the front, security, and restaurant staffs, truly warming and depicts well our rich, friendly, and sincere Thai culture. The restaurant there was definitely a good one for a higher class version of Thai Isan dining. Menus are core authentic. Apparently, the restaurant sells one of the top BEST quality of padaek in the city (pla ra in common Thai language, a fermented fish thick sauce which is unique and crucial for Isan and Laotian cuisine) according to local Udon Thani residents. They will happily pack for you properly should you wish to buy for overseas travel, with a very reasonable price. The only thing they should improve is the room and hotel renovations so that this hotel would be even more shining and looking fresh (not to look old and mellow). Otherwise, everything else is good!

The location is close to Suvarnabhumi Airport and other amenities, including good connections to international tourism.

Very clean. The air conditioning is cool and can be adjusted to suit your mood. There is coffee and breakfast. The bathroom is clean.

The Charoen Hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of many amenities and close to the airport. The accommodation is very good with large, clean rooms and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Udon Thani.
