The Ilisia Hotel was terrific! From the reception desk, to the bartender to the morning breakfast staff; none could have been more friendly and accommodating. If I were ever to return to Athens I would definitely use this facility again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was versatile and tasty.

Very enjoyable stay, nice welcome from staff

Comfy beds, good shower pressure, nice to have the nespresso machine and fridge in the room. Quiet, easy and friendly check in with helpful staff, nice breakfast. Equa-distant to two metro stops on the M3 line to the airport (easy walk with suitcases) - would have been happy staying here more nights than our one over night between flights. Pretty walkable to the city center and acropolis, especially through the national gardens. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel was lovely and convenient to Metro. Very clean. The staff was excellent and the breakfast was very nice. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Professional, kind, and attentive staff!!

Comfortable, clean room. Well equipped. Good breakfast and in-room drinks. Bad point: room was too hot (no air conditioning in winter, only heat), duvet too hot and noisy road prevents having the windows open much. No convenient place to plug in kettle or coffee machine without moving furniture.

Nice location, very central but quiet with lots of good restaurants on the same street. Good, friendly service with very generous mini bar. Room felt very small and quite dark particularly the wardrobe. Fine for one or two nights maybe but after 4 nights it started to feel cramped.

I like that they had a bar and breakfast included. Didn't like the old-fashioned vibes. This is definitely a hotel that attracts older folks. Most of the guest appeared to be 60+

I visit Athens most years and always try to book the Ilisia Hotel. It is well placed for the Evangelismos metro station en route between the airport and city centre. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning, fridge and coffee making set. Breakfast has a good range of options. Highly recommended.

This hotel is a small hotel in a great location - city center (only a 5 minute walk to the Metro and 2 stops to the Acropolis). The rooms are well appointed albeit typically smaller as the hotel is in the city center. The bed was super comfortable. Great quality amenities and linens. Great water pressure in the shower. Sliding doors lead out to a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs and some plants. Breakfast was fantastic for a hotel in the city center. The staff was super sweet and extremely helpful. There are a number of great restaurants within a very short distance. I would definitely return and stay here again next trip!

My only complaint It was very noisy and loud in the middle of the night. People were yelling and running at the hallway and we were awakened by the commotion outside our room.
