We have just spent the last 8 days at the Karidis hotel. It is such a beautiful little hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast/cleaning staff were amazing and always had a smile on their faces and helped with any request. The beach is about a four minute walk away with plenty of bars and restaurants and views to die for! There is also a bus stop right outside, where for two euros you can get to Fira. The room was comfortable and extremely clean and well kept. Breakfast was absolutely fine for us. With pastries, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, yoghurt and Greek meats and cheese, coffee and orange juice. All absolutely lovely with both outdoor and indoor seating (but with a view of of the mountain and buzz of the street why would you want to go indoors?). Thank you Karidis hotel for being so wonderful. We had the best time.

Very friendly staff. Check in/out was smooth and easy. Very clean rooms and service is great. The location is good, 3 minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast is good,it could be a bit bigger but for price value, it's pretty decent.

Karidis was a very nice place to stay with an excellent location! It was very easy to walk about the small town to dinner and to the beach. The hotel was lovely and the staff very friendly. The breakfast included was nice. The only frustration I had was not with the hotel itself, but the parking situation. The hotel has no parking and it is very hard to tell where you can park. Basically, you drive around looking for any spot you can fit your car into that is not in front of the hotel (which is apparently the only place you can not park). Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel.
