Quirky hotel with a bit of history. Room was spacious but a bit worn. Hotel was a little noisy but not a problem. There was a pool, sauna and good facilities for families with children. Breakfast and dinner options were great and the waiting staff were attentive and friendly amongst the chaos. Location was great, lots to do in the area. A thoroughly decent stay but perhaps better for families with children rather than those travelling as a couple or solo.

The property was unique with a great pool area. The room was clean, but very hot with no ventilation, unless the door was open. The breakfast was really good.

Love this hotel - so perfect for kids: play room, games, childcare service, good food, super friends staff, cool pool, and gym,spa/sauna. Definitely would come again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Arriving late after 9pm when the restaurant was closed they prepared cold meat dishes for us in the bar area even without asking, which was very nice. Clean and comfortable room for a family of four. Shower only in a bathroom. For breakfast & dinner, food is hot and tasty although the selection is kind of limited. Some empty trays if goes later for dinner. Pool and sauna area were great although pool is unnecessarily deep (1.9m). Overall very good value for money.

We stayed for a weekend ski trip half board. Generally the hotel is ok. Our room was not cleaned properly on both days ( sink dirty and blocked, dirty plates left in room) and our room was next to the air hockey table and arcade so quite noisy. The staff seemed quite cold at breakfast and dinner and overall it felt like the hotel was overstretched. The hospitality could be improved by making guests feel more welcome.

Old building but with Austrian charms. Small choice of food for dinner but everything quite tasty. Bus stop is next to the hotel

Afternoon cakes and nibbles with free drinks plus a spa area for swim sauna and Steam. All this after a hearty breakfast to set you up for the slopes. Really did us great for a lovely Easter break in Fieberbrunn which was affordable. The staff were so lovely and polite too. Yes there is some paintwork to be done in places but I am sure that is on the action plan ! Would love to se it in the summer too.

Mostly good. The wifi is rubbish. None in the rooms (its a castle was the reason given) and unreliable and extremely slow when you could connect in the public areas. The room was clean and comfortable although the bed linen was quite old. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The pool is good size although acoustics are noisy. The sauna area is OK although the steam room was off 2 of the 4 days we stayed.

The hotel was beautiful, the service was wonderful, but the beds were rather uncomfortable and sleep was somewhat elusive because of this. My Bildern were happy that there was a playground on site and enjoyed wasting their energy there after a long day of travel! Bonus, the playground is next to the Tavern with plants of outdoor seating so my husband and I could enjoy a beer or two while the kids played.

Enjoyed a great weeks skiing at various nearby ski areas. Hotel is old schloss with interesting features. I was on a B&B basis and breakfasts were plentiful from a well stocked buffet. Reception staff were very good and pleasant. Ski bus is convenient and if you fancy other areas such as kitzbuhel the nearby train is a 10 minute (uphill) walk away that takes you direct to the hahnenkamm cablecar (trains are very efficient and run mostly every hour).

The hotel was nice and quaint. Just be prepared for the town of Fieberbrunn to shut down at 6:00pm everyday. We tried to eat at the Hotel restaurant when we realized everything was closed, but the best we could understand from the hostest was that we need to make a reservation even though the restaurant was 90 percent empty at the time. We walked through the town and finally found a very expensive restaurant open but be warned they don't take credit cards.

Trying to check-in was a nightmare. There was VERY little parking spaces at the entrance to the hotel. Cars were everywhere and blocked others in. The rooms were VERY small & dark. Also, they were not up to the German standards of clean that we are used to.When checking in we heard the receptionist tell some other people that not all of their rooms had bathrooms which really scared us. Fortunately, our 2 rooms did have bathrooms. Honestly, if we had not prepaid for the rooms, we would have left and spent more time in Berchtesgaden. The highlight of the experience was the breakfast. It offered a huge variety of really fantastic types of food with wonderful service. We have always wanted to stay in a castle hotel--now we have--been there done that & next time we will spend more time in Switzeland & Germany.
