Very comfortable, great location

The location is excellent and the historic building is beautiful and well kept. The hotel furnishings are somewhat worn and not so well maintained (broken nightstands and the power plugs all go off when you turn off the light switch). The jacuzzi tub motor didn't work and the water doesn't get hot enough to really use a tub anyways, and the rusty jets are not very inviting.

Breakfast was shambolic and the service below the expected standard

Lovely property in a very pretty little town. Downside is that it is right next to a church that chimes every hour Day and night.

Stunning property in one of the “shield houses” in the old village, right outside the keep, and on the edge of the cliff. Pick a room with a balcony overlooking the river. Summer or winter, those will be a highlight of your trip. Each room is different, though, and the place is packed with 20th century furniture and art. The exposed stone walls give them a sense of unity.. The restaurant has a phenomenal menu with local ingredients (foraged mushrooms, hunted meats...) that you will not want to miss out on.

3 days prior to our visit, fires dumped ash into the river, soiling the town's water. Then the town cut the water supply completely. The staff dealt well, for the most part, in a difficult situation. We received a 10% discount. Lovely town.

Beautiful inn perched high up on a hill with great views. Good food in the hotel and within easy walk. Very close to natural parks in Spain and Portugal. It's worth it in all respects.

Beautiful hotel in absolutely stunning location. But multi - lingual staff means Spanish or Spanish! Free parking means on- street in a maze of narrow cobbled streets which will completely defeat your sat-nav.!!

El alojamiento es estupendo para visitar Sanabria y sus alrededores. Visita obligada, cuando hay mercado medieval que es impresionante. No es la situación más silenciosa durante el mercado, pero desde las habitaciones hay una vista excepcional. El personal es amable y muy atento.

Excelente hotel, terraza, restaurante y minibar

El hotel es excelente, el desayuno puede mejorar porque solo ponen un par de tostadas, había banano o naranja de frutas, jugo y café . Sería ideal que tengan más opciones .

Un lugar muy bonito y cómodo! La chica de recepción sino me equivoco Maite muy amable no solo en el hotel sino en una consulta que hice por teléfono y me lo solucionó en un momento. El único pero que tuvimos que dejar el coche bastante lejos y eso con las maletas y lloviendo una faena. El pueblo en si un encanto para recorrer las calles.

Muy acogedora, está en el mismo centro, no se puede aparcar cerca, pero es accesible facilmente.

Poco personal, hotel incomodo de acceso, no tiene ascensor, camas incomodas, mobiliario mejorable.

Solo pasamos una noche Situación buenísima, al lado del castillo e iglesias, con vistas al río Puedes ver puebla andando en un ratin Cama cómoda, habitación confortable, con baño amplio y con muchos detalles, incluso en el mini bar te dejan unos refrescos de cortesía y agua La chica de recepción muy amable y la camarera que nos atendió también muy servicial, además nos aviso que en la plaza no podíamos aparcar porque te expones a que te multen Ya habíamos estado en Puebla de Sanabria antes y como siempre un placer Y visitar la reserva del lobo también
