Wow. Wasn’t necessarily sure what to expect from a hotel in such a small town like Golegã would be but it was EXCELLENT. The hotel infrastructure was updated and our room was very large with an excellent shower. The best part for us was the pool and jacuzzi - exactly what 2 weary travelers needed after walking 20 miles!

Staff went above and beyond on my needs! Service was exceptional and hotel very comfortable. 5 stars to the staff!

Beautiful place

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. My room was vertical comfortable with a huge bed and a lovely shower and lots of space to put things. The spa was wonderful I spent a couple of hours using the pool, sauna and steam room and felt very refreshed.

The hotel is really great like a drop of small relax and chill in a lovely town

This hotel is lovely - a delightful renovation of a historic homestead and is very luxurious. There is a spa complex with hot tub, pool, sauna etc - just the thing for after a hard days walking. Service very good. We were leaving at 5am and they were up to provide us a full breakfast, they insisted. Restaurant food very good, not amazing, but great value.

Friendly and accommodating

We stayed for two nights. Cons: We tried to use the spa facilities but the attendant did not know how turn on the showers - weird. The air conditioning was very warm so sleeping was uncomfortable. The internet did not reach the room very well. Pros: The male waiter (Luis?) was amazing and went to the ends of the earth to Get me a mango juice - thank you The rooms are nice and comfortable. The turkish bath was lovely and clean.

Hotel was a wonderful surprise. A beautiful gem in a quaint little town. Locals were exceptionally welcoming. Would love to have stayed longer

A superb hotel to spend a few days in to experience rural Portugal

Excellent hotel ,very efficient friendly staff

Fantastic hotel, right on the Caminho. Ended up taking a zero here. Largest guest room, bathroom and shower I have seen so far in Portugal. Service was excellent. Very responsive staff. The restaurant is great Also. Did not have a single bad meal. However, note that the restaurant is closed for dinner Sundays and lunch and dinner on Mondays.

What a pleasant surprise! We visited the cities and decided to travel a bit out of the way to see some of the countryside. This hotel is in a very small,charming community. The hotel has a welcoming feel and is small enough to make you seem as if you are in a bread and breakfast but with more privacy. It has been decorated with style , restraint and taste. The staff, particularly the concierge was superb.

After a week of being on the road, this was a beauty to the eyes and the most comfortable hotel we had stayed at. <it had an indoor pool and whirlpool, included, and the room was huge and comfortable.

Luis was very attentive and went the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

We checking late from our drive from Sintra. The road was very scenic with a beautiful sunset thought vineyards. The is located at the country entrance of the village near to best things to do. The receptionist was very nice and offered us to enjoy their authentic Golega cuisine. The food was super delicious and service was 5 stars. Our room had front veranda with view to the Carlos Relvas museum, which we more than recommend to visit. The main square where the main church is situated was 2 minutes walking distance from our hotel. The breakfast next morning was extremely delicious with options of many tastes.

The hotel was very elegant with many facilities including a Spa, pool and gym. Generous rooms with good facilities and a comfortable bed. A good base for touring and an easy walk to the Central Cafe, which was splendid.
