It is a nice central hotel. Nice facilities. The staff were nice. The rooms have no spare plugs. You have to plug out the TV to charge a phone.

We were welcomed with big friendly smiles by all the team at the hotel. Good sized room, comfortable beds, cleanliness impeccable everywhere.

Mostly a good experience. The very minimal kitchen equipment made cooking not an option, no strainer for example. Internet good. Linen and towels good. Staff pleasant.

Second time this year. Knew they have a great indoor heated pool. And breakfasts good. Staff helpful and attentive. They do well to keep going out of season at such a low price. Many thanks

Ideal well positioned hotel for a 1 night stop 5 minute walk from the beach. Free parking outside the hotel.

I wrote ahead asing for the two twins to be made up as one bed. The hotel did not write back or make up the bed. They I got a lame excuse when I arrived. I asked for coffee in the morning. The machine was in the restaurant but the desk person said I had to wait for breakfast. The walls are paper thin. They don't seem to want you there. Decent mattress and bedding. Also, a nice indoor pool with power jets for massage.

Kitchen facilities were inadequate and somewhat inappropriate. Large pans for 2 people but no small pans. No measure jug or collander. No oven

We have stayed at the Monte Gordo Hotel many times. This is a very friendly hotel with courteous staff & a high level of cleanliness. The service we have received has been consistent on every stay which is why we are return guests. Bedrooms are a medium to large size with very comfortable beds. The apartments are large with good quality furniture. We haven't used the spa facilities so cannot comment on this service though i would expect it to be of the same high quality standard of the hotel. Breakfast has a good choice of food for all nationalities and the breakfast room offers a relaxed atmosphere, we have never needed to wait to be seated and staff are always welcoming. A perfect start to the day!

I very much enjoyed this hotel. From check-in to check-out, it was pleasant and relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the pool area was great, and breakfast was delicious. The front desk was especially friendly and accomodating. This will be my hotel in Monte Gordo in the very near future.

Amazing stay at Monte Gordo, from check in to check out. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly and so helpful. The hotel is spotless, pool is nice. Wifi in the hotel is really good and you have a smart tv in the room. Definitely recommend the hotel and will be back.

Pool was cold, staff in the restaurant didn’t explain the procedure to order breakfast correctly. The bar was supposed to close at 12 but was closed at 11.30 when we came in for a night cap before bed. No kettle in the room or mini bar as stated

Dry good hotel

Good facilities , indoor pool , close to the front to enjoy the sea , breakfast good selection . Walls a little thin so can hear your neighbours and corridor activity .,

Loved that kids were allowed in the spa area w/ no restrictions. Loved how the apt was properly cleaned daily (including sweeping of the floors).Kitchen well equipped, clean, wonderful experience! HOWEVER, the shower curtains smelled like urine as they were kind of plastic and that is the kind of thing you see in a 2 star hotel. 4 star hotels need a glass in the shower/tub, not plastic curtains.

We loved it. Great breakfast, atmosphere, very accommodating staff, bar had a great choice. Good location for restaurants, bike hire, free parking, everything you need, nice big rooms too. We’ll be back again very soon. Only one slight change would be to open the gym before 9am.

All the staff gave an exellent service and I would highly recommend this hotel
