Good location and good service.

The hotel environment is great, close to shops. The hotel has a user-friendly pool, although it's not big, you can take a long bath with your family. The weekend nights are lively with the uptown market.

Just stayed for a night. Good location but need to drive to some of the good eateries.

Few times stayed here - good choice

Though we checked in late and stayed for only a couple of hours, we enjoyed every bit of it—clean, quiet, and nice.

1st time coming here...ok I review.. 1..the reception is arrogant, acts up when asked, not friendly to customers. It's like they don't serve but luckily the one person is okay.. 2.luckily got an okay view facing the mosque.muslim friendly.. 3.close to the night market and the tower...just walk.. 4.buffet is okay..it's okay..3.5/5 5.there is a pool...but not big..suitable for the price of b40...worth it..

Location perfect, next to pasar malam. The only issue is water heater not functioning. Need to fix this.

The hotel is in the centre of Kuantan Town, so its easy to find. Its an old hotel. Free parking provided in the basement and few parking outside the hotel. The room quite small but the bed is comfy. Shower room also small little space to move around. Breakfast tasty with a few choices. One of the cheapest room in town. We enjoyed our morning walk at a field in front of the hotel. Oo yes, the hotel staff are helpful and informative. Worth staying and we will stay again next time.

If you request something, you never get it. Sometimes we book for 2 nights, the receptionist may ask 'oh, did you book for 2 nights?' What question is this? As a receptionist, you won't know how many nights the guest will stay. Don't you make preparations before the guest arrives to check in? I booked a week in advance, you should take note of the request by the guest (ex. high floor, city view room, etc.) but when I arrive to check in, can you tell me next time, I have to remark on the booking for a special request. I already finished remarking when I booked. Please put a receptionist who knows how to work at the front desk. Please improve your front office department!

This is my second time staying at Shahzan Inn Kuantan. I chose Shahzan Inn because the first time I stayed, the environment was beautiful, the service was good, the room was clean, the room at that price had a fridge and iron and iron board in the room. Very comfortable. Only this time, there was an unpleasant smell starting from the back parking lot that was paid to the PBT, in the lobby, the level 7 environment and the underground parking. I hope the hotel can take note of this issue. That's all.

Unpleasant smell at corridor area (stay at level 9) TV reception is poor in all channels (very limited channels by the way.)

Every time I come to Kuantan, I stay here, the service is the best. My stuff was left behind after 3 days, then I remembered to go to the counter, thank God, the cleaner kept my stuff.

Lots of dust, not very clean and the quilt cover is torn.
