I recently stayed at Hotel Port while visiting Rotterdam. The room was clean, modern and comfortable – a great base for exploring the city. We requested a late checkout as we were attending a nearby music festival and hoped to have a lie-in the next morning. The receptionist told us it would be €15 to check out at 1pm, which we agreed to. Unfortunately, the following morning the cleaner was talking loudly on their mobile phone right outside our door, so we didn’t really get the relaxed morning we had planned. When we checked out, a different member of staff asked us to pay a further €15, saying we had stayed longer than we had paid for. We explained we had already agreed and paid the late checkout fee, and that any miscommunication wasn’t our fault. Despite this, we were still told we needed to pay. It wasn’t about the amount, but it felt unreasonable to be charged again due to what seemed like an internal issue. This slightly overshadowed what was otherwise a great trip.

Overall a nice place to stay staff was great. Hotel is a little dated but clean and everything was in good working order. Not much food very near by but easy to take a train or bus to the main part of town. No issues would stay again.

The wallpaper was pealing off the wall in a few places. Floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The room needed a paint job...and the TV was small. For the money I paid per night, I was expecting more than a 2 star hotel.

Great overall. Nice Room. But the hallways were a bit tired-looking with worn rugs.

Hotel Port was excellent for my stay as a single traveler. The room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was very nice. The location of the hotel was very convenient as down the street had some restaurants and walking around the area was quite scenic.

Parking was a big issue. The website said they had some onsite parking but there was none. There was not even a spot to stop to unload on a very busy street. Facilities were a bit run down but the room was clean.

Got the cosy single room, which was great and more than sufficient for my needs - good sized desk and a some electrical outlets woth built in USB ports. Nice clean bathroom. Would have been good if the late night access could be done with the card - had to wait 10 minutes while the person at the desk was helping a customer.

This was a very basic hotel. The receptionist had originally assigned me to a single room that she knew had electrical issues (power and lights would not turn on). The room looked very worn and could use some cosmetic upgrades. She then resolved the issue by giving me another room, which was fully functional and even looked more updated. Overall, hotel was fine, and works for a basic place to lay your head. It is about 5 mins walking distance to the tram and train.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very small and outdated. floorboard was broken in area and floorboards needed paint badly. Beds were clean and comfortable and bathroom was clean. If rooms were a bit updated this would be a fabulous little affordable gem super close to Schiecentrale Event Center.

Parking at local car park, which is expensive. Great local transport if only one person.

Not expensive and quiet location with helpful professional staff. A little bit out of the centre, but plenty of places within short walking distance, eg Pelgrim Delfshaven, Parqiet near Euromast, Bakeleit bar, Dahlak east african food. All brilliant.
