Brilliant little hotel, ideal location

This hotel was good value for money and within easy walking distance of the city centre, with free wi-fi and parking. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and a small issue we raised about the room was speedily resolved. Decent breakfast with plenty of variety. Would stay here again.

All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would like to acknowledge Lara as she provided excellent care and service. Although the property is not a 4 star hotel, the care of the staff was exceptional! This hotel has the best location as it was only a 3 minute walk to the Altice Forum Braga where our kids participated in the Dance World Cup.

Fantastic place...great staff, breakfast, location, everything!!

The hotel was not too easy to find and i only just managed to get the last parking space outside. I was greeted by a very friendly lady but told they do not serve food in the evening only breakfast. I was told of a local restaurant I could go to. The room was very old fashioned and very cold. There were no pillows on the bed and the sheet would struggle to keep anyone warm. I doubt I would go back in a hurry.

In order that I can remember... Price for the rooms is cheap. Young lady on reception was excellent. Stairs were in total darkness, so use the lift. 14" portable tv in room :-) Shower head was at dwarf level. Surrounding area doesn't look the best, but it's actually seemed very safe walking about in the dark. The 'Angolan' restaurant about 100 yards away is excellent. 3 different starters, 1/2 chicken, chips, rice & salad for Seven Euros. There was a bit of noise outside the room in the night, but there was a lot of B'ham fans stopping there for a footy match. Can't commentate on breakfast, as I missed it. If I was on my own again & on a budget, I'd stop there again. With the wife, I'd probably end up trying somewhere else. Worth the journey though, for the chicken dinners down the road :-)

The staff are friendly ad helpful and the accomodation was comfortable. The breakfast was good. It is excellent as a base for visitng Braga and the main tourist attractions which are within easy walking distance.If we go back to Braga we shall stay there again.

A equipe extremamente gentil e simpática foi super acolhedora, e o hotel nos proporcionou uma estadia memorável.

L'accueil et l'emplacement

Das Personal verspruehte das positive Charme welches typisch fuer den Norden Portugals ist. Die offene sympathisch Art des Personals ist unbeschreiblich und war ausschlaggebend fuer den weiteren Verlauf meines Aufenthalts in Braga. Ohne dieses waere ich gar nicht in den Genuss des Besches bestimmter Sehenswuerdigkeiten und Veranstaltungen. Schlafbereich und Badezimmer habe ich in einem tadlellosen und sauberen Zustand vorgefunden. Habe mir definitiv das Hotel fuer meinen weiteren Besuche vorgemerkt.

Mein Zimmer war recht muffelig, es roch nach Zigaretten. Obwohl ich selbst Raucher bin, mag ich den Geruch im Schlafzimmer nicht. Service sehr nett. Für Konzerte in der Altice Arena gut gelegen.

Boa relação custo-benefício. O pessoal é muito simpático, a Márcia nos forneceu otimas dicas sobre os passeios. O café da manhã é um pouco fraco. Havia um probleminha no banheiro. A limpeza foi boa, os quartos e banheiros são de bom tamanho.

Com o objetivo de fazer turismo e portanto utilizar a hotelaria somente para dormir e banhar-se, não nos apegamos a necessidade de conforto extremo. A atenção do pessoal de recepção e restaurante com indicações de pontos turísticos e sua história, eventos gratuitos (fado em praça pública), indicação de restaurante próximo (Ninho de Sabores) com excelente custo-benefício , transporte coletivo e solução de dúvidas foram os pontos altos da hospedagem.

Apesar de eu ter pedido 2 quartos nao fumantes, um deles cheirava muito fortea cigarro e tambem tinha sua banheira entupida.
