Our room was on the second floor. It was smaller than the other rooms we've stayed in at this hotel. The bathroom was also small, not suitable for my mother, who uses a walker and a wheelchair. Our movement was limited in that room. The AC was directed directly at the bed, making it very cold. However, the positive thing was that we were allowed to check in early. Check-in and check-out were easy. There's a 7-Eleven nearby. The staff at this hotel were friendly and very helpful, especially for my mother, who uses a wheelchair. Thank you.

The Wi-Fi was good. The AC was very cold. The price was affordable, and it was only a few minutes from Island Hospital by GrabCar.

Nearby hospitals only cross the street. Need to walk to find dinner cause all the shops are closed in the evening.

The hotel service is friendly, the hotel environment is close to the hospital, I happened to go for a check-up so this hotel was very suitable and close to the pharmacy and market.

I stayed 1 night at this hotel for treatment at Island Hospital with my mother who uses a wheelchair, just a few minutes by Grabcar cost RM5. The hotel staff was responsive and helpful, including helping carry our luggage to the room and pushing my mother in a wheelchair. The check-in and check-out process was fast. We paid RM10/night for hotel tax, no deposit. I booked a twin bed room only room. There was no mineral water bottle provided in the room but hot and cold water in the dispenser was available as much as you like outside the room on the same floor. The elevator operated well. The room was quite clean, the size was just right for two people. The room was not soundproof. There were coffee sachets + cups, a hot water kettle, liquid soap, small towels. There was no toothpaste and toothbrush. There was a TV but I didn't turn it on. There was wifi but we didn't use it. The bathroom was functioning well and clean, there was hot water. The AC worked well. Overall, this hotel was quite good.

The staffs are very nice and friendly. The hotel room is small, clean. Soundproofing is poor though, the toilet is very loud and there is a dog barking outside our window. The guests there also quite disruptive late at night during our long stay there. We chose this hotel for its location because it literally opposite Loh Guan Lye hospital however it is very inconvenient to find food as you need to walk 10-15 mins. The hotel amenities is also very minimum, there is no microwave available at all so we cannot reheat any food in the hotel, which i find frustrating. For a short stay, it is ok esp if you need to go to nearby hospital. Longer stay, better find more equipped hotel.

Some of the staff are not up to date regarding minimalist transportation, especially for those who need it.

Female receptionist charged us RM 20.00 for goverment tax, my question is why the hotel don’t charge directly from traveloka or make some information before we paid from application, from receptionists and cleaning staffs are not friendly and helpfull

Very close to Loh Guan Lye Hospital, the room was clean and spacious, with hot water. The staff was very helpful with check-in and check-out, especially allowing us to store luggage and medication in the chillers. Thank you, Grand Inn. I'll stay here again next time.

Grand Inn hotel is close with Loh Guan Lye specialist centre.. it is also 30 minutes from airport and 15 minutes from Gurney Plaza (mall with Oriental Kopi inside). If you go to Penang for medical in Loh Guan Lye, you should choose this hotel. It is also close with food like Lorong Selamat (Char Kway Tiaw). You can refill mineral water in the hotel, but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste in the room.
