Not a hotel but a

The hotel was in a great location, close to the Gothic Quarter and Barceloneta which was our main reason for choosing it. The check in process was really simple with regular communication from the hotel on what to do for gaining entry to the building. The staff were really welcoming and friendly, offering good advice for the area and staying safe in the city. Our room was really clean and well maintained each day we were there. A few things that could have been better was, having more daylight in our room. Ours faced into the small internal lift space so there was no view and very little daylight. The room, bathroom in particular felt a little tired and needed a little updating. There were a couple of occasions where it was a little noisy from other guests but the staff did address this without us having to. There wasn’t a secure, locked space for us to leave our luggage when we checked out so it had to be left within the main reception area next to the staff member. Overall though it was a great stay and the location was the definite winner for it.

Desk clerk left early no way to contact. Less than half toilet paper with four people in room. Had to buy tissue and ice. Air conditioner goes on and off so the room was hot and very humid outside so no relief inside or outside. Will not recommend.

Kind host and lovely hotel. Very close to beach with lots of restaurants and bars around.

It’s just a room with many beds. Nothing else! Shocking

the staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself didn't feel like a hotel... the room was very small for a 4-person family and was poorly organized. felt more like a hostel then a hotel and the pictures are very misleading. the location is great and we got excellent service from the staff but the overall experience wasn't good mainly because of the condition of the room. would not recommend.

Good location!

Unbeatable location. Perfect as a place to sleep and shower as you explore the old city. The room was small, but if you are staying in this area you should be out as much as possible. Just know what to expect: this isn't a big hotel with a staffed front desk. The desk is staffed at limited hours, you have to buzz in at the front door to enter the hotel floor. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Just don't expect the traditional full service hotel experience. Also, if you're traveling with young children, note that the rooms are very small and it will likely be too cramped for a family. But I will stay here again. If you could choose any location in Barcelona to have a great experience walking around and seeing the city, this is the place.

This is a very simple establishment, however Idina, the front desk host was amazing! She was so helpful and friendly! The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big, which was a different from what I have experienced in Europe.

We had to check in at the hotel Across the road as they do not have a 24 hour reception. My husband’s backpack was stolen as we were unloading from the taxi. I informed the hotel by email and there was no response. Not safe if arriving in the evening. We were appreciative of the people outside the hotel who helped us.

Not a good experience overall. The reception area is located inside the room area and you can hear all guess conversations when checking in and out. Additionally, since there is no guard on the entrance door, if a guess leaves the door open you can get unwanted surprises such as homeless entering into the property to do their personal needs. We experienced fecal material behind the elevator which last for an entire day, and it was very uncomfortable. On the good side, the staff was friendly and responsive. However, we would definitely not come back to this hotel.

Definitely a private hostel room with basic amenities but for a family of 4 that spent almost no time in the room (only for sleep) it was perfect. Clean, safe in an amazing location and affordable! I’d definitely stay again!

Very convenient to getting around. Lovely staff and perfect for my two night stay.

It’s a bit hard to find because it’s inside an apartment building and the process to access the reception is different, but once you figure it out it is a great place to stay I would suggest a deep cleaning to the bathroom inside the shower but everything else is great I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again there.
