Do not believe this hotel when they say they have parking. They do not and told me so when I arrived with my bags. Very unhelpful. Simply shrugged shoulders and did little to help. To be fair the city of Lecce is almost impossible for cars so little surprise they don’t allow them into the centre. Had I known, had the hotel actually said something beforehand, I could have made a different decision. Maybe still stay but accept what was to happen. Or not to stay and find somewhere else that could better accommodate a car. We are on a road trip so the car aspect is very important. That the hotel did nothing to assist is unacceptable. The fact that the hotel is fine, location great, city lovely is sadly beside the point. The hotel management sucks. Their attitude ruined our stay. I am very very disappointed.

Hotel Santa Chiara is in an excellent location near the main square. Breakfast in the rooftop was superb. I would return.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Staff were great, the facilities and standard of upkeep excellent, and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast offered a generous selection of continental style food. The hotel is right in the middle of Lecce 's historic district, my room window overlooking one of the top 5 sights of the city. Just 15 minute walk from the rail station. Just about a perfect place to stay in what quickly became one of my top 10 European cities.

Hotel in the heart of Lecce, on a small square across from the baroque church the hotel is named after. Large and fancy lobby. Room basic but reasonable size for Europe. Decent sized bathroom with good rain shower. Internet worked well, but would have liked a bigger work desk. Breakfast room on 4th floor, with view over nearby square and streets. Solid choice of mainly cold (other than eggs and bacon) items.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. It was centrally located and just right beside Sta. Chiara church. We had everything we needed and Roberto made sure that we had a wonderful stay. It was a nice Christmas in Lecce. Thank you Roberto!

The staff were very helpful and very friendly and always available. The shower in our room was very old and not cleaned well due to years of buildup (likely). I was disappointed that although there is a pool and a hot tub, neither were opened and you had to book the spa to be able to use the pool. That information was not clear at the time of booking. The hotel was in a perfect location, near everything and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful staff, beautiful and clean hotel, great rooftop, centrally located.

Located right in the heart of the city, all walking distance. Nice rooms, parking off premises but just 7-10 min pleasant walk.

One of the reasons we came back was the parking service and they didn't have it available but no one told us anything at booking! Things were braking down in the tmroo. Like toilet paper holder outlet covers, etc...

Location excellent. Parking very convenient, staff friendly and helpful. Room was pretty but shower small and doors were not working properly. When we reported, it was not fixed during our stay. Also the hotel advertised a spa and jaccuzzi on 4th floor that were not operating.

Very good. The only issue was that our room was below the rooftop breakfast room so we could hear in the morning the chairs being dragged around.

We arrived in late morning. Left our bags at reception--when we returned, they were already in our room. The Zona Traffico Limitada limits automobile access times to the hotel, but you just want to take your car to a parking area (after 2 pm, their garage will send a valet for your car; we used Parkejoo, an underground garage, until then). Nice breakfast. No need for a hotel restaurant or bar, plenty of choices nearby. Room was quite attractive with great woodwork and curtains--fitting into the Baroque spirit of the city.

The Hotel is in a perfect spot. The common areas are really nicely done, including lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was included and was great. Only issue is the rooms are dated and a bit musty. The air conditioning is OK, not great. Packets of shampoo and shower gel were provided but was kind of amateurish. The staff is really very great and really help with any concern. All were super nice. Even let us change room as the first one was too musty.

5 star experience! Parking a nightmare in the area, so wonderful that this hotel provides parking... They also did a beautiful job on my laundry and the staff is all very accommodating!

The Suite Hotel Santa Chiara in Lecce was a wonderful property. It has a great location and proximity to stunning churches and restaurants. We loved staying here so much that we extended our stay here two extra nights. The staff were fabulous and provided us with helpful information about the area including great recommendations for restaurants! The morning breakfast was excellent and I especially enjoyed talking with Luna who was friendly and a good representative for this hotel!

Wonderful hotel in an excellent location. Helpful staff. We needed to do laundry and they had a doorman walk us to the laundromat. All of the staff were available and ready to assist.
