The receptionist at check in very courteous and efficient. Near most everything. The only problem I had is : NO NAMES ON THE STREET CORNER TO IDENTIFY IT. How is one to know that is Regele Ferdinand Blvd when the english guide pronounces it waaaaay differently and there is no sign to mark it!?

I stayed here for a conference and it was the perfect hotel - clean, nice conference space, incredible food, and very attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Cluj!

The room was large, the bed was relatively comfortable. There were only 2 flat pillows, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people. The air-conditioner was fine. Breakfast was very good, better than most other hotels we stayed at on this trip. There was a free secure parking in front of the hotel - very convenient. The hotel is on the river bank and there is a park across the river. A walk through the park gets you to the old town.

I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too.

It is an average hotel. Nothing special. Staff should be trained about smiling and appearing friendly. It gives the impression of an older communist hotel

Big comfortable rooms with queen size bed. Friendly staff, hudge parking area. Good breakfast.

They gave me a an uncleaned room at the check in. I had to come back to reception to change my room. Strange that they do not even know which room is cleaned and which room is dirty. Furniture in the room is very old, also bathroom needs renovation, in general everything in the hotel is outdated. But location is good and close to center. And free parking.

Carpet needs to be changed!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, easy parking, clean rooms. The waiter apparently heard me commenting about how I missed having ice in my drinks (it's not common in Romania) and went out of his way to find me some. Lovey hotel and area.

A great place to use as a base for exploring the city.

Clearly not a 4 stars hotel. It could be better. Good points: clean, pretty comfortable. Bad points: old communist furniture, ugly uncovered balcony, receptionist has mistaken the rooms and we have to come back with the entire luggage, the TVs seem to be from 1990’s and the air conditioner is definitely not suitable for summer days, luckily it rained at Cluj and the temperature was fine. In conclusion: 2 stars would be more appropriate.

Positives: huge bed, clean room, clean bedding, working TV :) Negatives: temperature in the room can only be controlled from the reception. No minibar. No coffees or kettle - just some shower gel. Hotel looks tired and in need of updating - pictures attached.
