The hotel is an old facility but you see how much care they have put in. I think I was put in a smoking room so the smell lingers.

The property is very old and the meals are mediocre . The staffs are very nice and very helpful. The atmosphere suits for those who like the vibe of age of poor Japan. The Onsen is good though the amenities inside the Onsen are poor.

Handy shuttle to town and bus station. Very good dinner and breakfast. Not much English but otherwise very helpful staff.

The staff were absolutely amazing. The hallway was very dingy not nice at all and the futon bed they put on the floor for me was horrible. Having said that, I have never slept on the floor so it was the first time for me. The resort Onsen was amazing.

The hotel staff was friendly and speaks English. They also have partnership with 2 hotels so when you get there, they allow you to go to the other hotel's hot spring and you can go there in car or their shuttle bus. They have a shared complimentary hair and face care in their public onsen. The bad side is we got a bad wifi signal but the experience was nice.

The hotel is very close to the center of town. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The hot springs are not tattoo friendly.

We loved it here. The resort is amazing. The room was a good size. The view was fantastic. Close to the Yubatake, Kusatsu Gate foot bath, restaurants, and markets. They have a free shuttle to the center of town, Yubatake. Also, a shuttle to the bus stop when you go back. Plus, the free big onsen is amazing. You can also use two other hotels' onsens, but Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Resort's is the biggest and nicest. They provide a yukata for use while you're there, which is nice if you want to take pictures outside in a yukata. The staff are all super friendly and nice. We loved this place.

Great resort but a bit older style and window is single pane so cold air still seeps thru the hobby and hallway area. Some of the ceiling and walls are cracking and stains. The resort has family friendly things to do like ping pong and arcade area. The hot spa was pretty good. Breakfast is a great experience. Overall, good experience.

Onsen. Require renovation. Limited local transportation to move around. Staff very helpful, Food quantity too much and quality need to be improved.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The in room bathroom was in need of repair. The fact i needed to reserve breakfast a day in advance is absurd.

Location is very good and staff are good and helpful

Outdated and very disappointed. Need to spend some money to redo paint, hallways and most flooring. Also really needs a deep clean. Roof and higher parts of walls in room were dirty/dusty. Bathroom taps all leaked, including the toilet. Wifi didn’t work in our room, only reached the lobby and first floor.

Old hotel but keep good maintenance. I have an request that need mantion men and women onsen entrance in English. Hopefully you consider it.

We stayed for three nights our breakfast is still the same menu so we expect everyday is different but unfortunately it is not. But all is fine the staff are very nice

建物はちょっと年数が経っているせいか、昭和の雰囲気を感じました。部屋の中や廊下などなど清潔感、部屋の中の設備・備品などは完璧です♪ 天然温泉♨️なので泉質は最高です♪ 源泉が違うのか、硫黄の香りは少な目です♪ また、温泉の質からカベなどには影響を感じられます♪ 浴室にあるトイレがしゃがみ式であったのにはびっくりしました‼️ スタッフ方々は皆さん笑顔が素敵でいろいろなお願いにも親切に対応して頂き、嬉しかったです♪♪ また、行きたく👍なります❗️ 　　草津良いところ一度はおいで〜 このホテルは建物は古いですが、食事は最高😃 料金もリーズナブルなので、皆さんにお勧め❗️ 間違い無し‼️
