Spa was good, pool facilities good. Dinner time food ok but seemed slightly under staffed and long queues would form in certain places. Same with breakfast although not as bad.

The hotel pools are amazing, clean and with plenty of sun beds. My only comments would be that the kids food options need improving. The bolgnaise sauce was watery with hardly any meat and the lasagne was not fresh but the frozen type. Maybe some mashed potatoes, chicken fingers, homemade lasagne and Mac and Cheese would be great to have. Also the room shower has no raised platform so when you shower even with little water pressure the water will leak out making a huge mess. That is not ideal when you have small kids which is a shame when the bathroom is big enough to fit a bathtub.

This is our 4th time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love coming back! The cleanliness is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful—truly excellent customer service. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of delicious options, and vegetarians will have no trouble finding something satisfying. The location is great if you have a car—just 10 to 25 minutes to Chipiona, Rota, Jerez de la Frontera, and Cádiz. It’s also about a 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Seville, which makes for a nice day trip. The beds are incredibly comfortable (some of the best we've ever slept in!), and overall, the hotel continues to exceed our expectations. We can't wait to return again!

The hotel has everything you could wish for for a family holiday lots of swimming pools fantastic food and an amazing kids club. We had an amazing holiday and will definitely go back there again.

Best sunset ever

This hotel is AMAZING! We have been here 3 times already and we love it! It is so clean and family-friendly, the food is amazing, etc. We loved that spa, service, and accessibility to the beach. There is nothing that we can name that we did not like.

If you like lots and lots of screaming kids crying everywhere, this is the hotel for you. There is no peace. The room and the place is nice but the amount of people and quality of those people is very hard to bear. Awful music blasting at the pool. I was not happy here.

Another great little break at Costa Ballena. Despite the long queues at check in, the staff worked through the lines promptly. Food at the buffet was ok, has been better in the past, same with the pool restaurant. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids during the day and in the evening which was appreciated. Grounds and pool were clean at all times. Don't understand why small inflatables are not allowed in the main pool. I understand big ones, but small rubber rings should be considered in my opinion. Thank you for a nice few days (think its our fourth visit), will come again soon!

The rooms were very spacious and clean, the facilities were great for kids. The food quality could be better, especially with the variety towards vegeterians and pesceterians, as there were a lot of ham and other red meat with very litte choice of seafood

Mooie, ruime en schone hotelkamer. Prachtig kinderspeelbad met diverse glijbaantjes. Direct aan een mooi strand. Enige minpunt is dat het hotel binnenkort dicht ging, waardoor bijv. de helft van het zwembad al afgesloten was. Jammer, want je betaalt wel de volle pond. Maar dat is natuurlijk afhankelijk van de datum dat je afreist naar dit hotel. Verder eveneens een prima buffet (gevarieerd, dagelijks anders kost).

We had an amazing experience in the hotel. The buffet was amazing. They have different things to do near the hotel. Also, the hotel have different activities to do with the family during the day and nights.

Property is family friendly, staff very helpful. Common spaces Very spacious and clean. Childrens pool and play area is perfect for kids, beach is easily accessible and location feels isolated from outside distractions. Rooms and clean, beds a little more firm than Im ised to but well presented when you enter to find the robes on the bed.

THIS PROPERTY OFFERED A VERY FRIENDLY STAFF AND CLEAN PROPERTY ITSELF. THERE WAS NO VARIETY OF SHOPPING OR DINING OUTSIDE THE PROPERTY IN REASONABLE DISTANCE FOR VISITORS WITH NO PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION.

Located next to a beautiful beach. Modern hotel with good facilities. Lovely pool and surrounding area. Quality of the food could have been better but good value for money.

Rude service at the dining room. Kids running around with no control and no masks. Coffee, horrible ever taste. We paid for breakfast but we ended up having breakfast everyday in a little town close by. I complained, talked to the sub-director, but not action taken whatsoever. Just a friendly email to follow the protocol. Honestly, very disappointed! Will never come back and not recommended.

Nice location with direct access to the beach. Good pool for adults and kids.
