There are many drawbacks for the price of around 800. 1. Check-in had to wait 1 hour, even though I arrived at 3:30. 2. Dirty room, dirty carpet, many furniture that is no longer suitable for a hotel at this price. 3. Hot water did not work when taking a shower at 10 am. 4. Breakfast had a waiting list, and the food taste was below average. 5. One elevator was broken, so it was quite a queue. 6. The room is not soundproof, noise from the next room is quite audible. 7. The lobby and breakfast area are hot, lack of air conditioning. 8. The swimming pool area is not well maintained. Plus: The security guard is friendly. Stay here once, not again if there is no change.

For a hotel that's over 10 years old, maintenance is definitely in order. The carpets and rugs in the rooms and throughout the area are extremely shabby and haven't been cleaned, making them incredibly dusty. The restaurant is in dire need of more space; this is the first time we've had to queue for breakfast due to limited seating, which is incredibly uncomfortable. The rooftop area is also in dire need of a facelift. While the service is good, the conditions we mentioned above are simply not suitable for a four-star hotel.

For some reason, the "luxury" feel is starting to fade. The lobby is hot. I tried breakfast, and the spaghetti aglio olio was hard and dry. It had a slightly unpleasant odor. Overall, it's pretty okay. But I hope the maintenance, etc., and the ambiance are upgraded.

Stayed one night at the Amaroossa Bogor. I was actually a bit disappointed, due to several reasons: 1. Only one elevator was functioning, so getting on and off the elevator required a long wait, especially on a weekend. 2. Upon checking in, the bathroom smelled really bad, so I had to call the housekeeping staff to clean it. 3. The breakfast menu wasn't very varied for a 5-star hotel. It was pretty basic, like a 3-star hotel breakfast (some 3-star hotels even have more variety). And my goodness, the white rice was so dry, some grains were almost raw when I ate it. Hopefully, it will improve in the future. Thank you.

The hotel staff was friendly, but some of the facilities needed improvement: the hot water in the shower wasn't hot, so we had to shower with cold water. Breakfast items ran out quickly and took too long to be refilled, and spoons and cutlery took too long to be refilled.

This hotel has a great location, close to the Botanical Gardens. Botani Square is right across the street. It's easy to get everywhere, and there are plenty of culinary options. The rooms are very classic and a bit dated. The bathroom amenities, including the exhaust fan, didn't work, so the bathroom smell wafted into the room. Overall, everything is good, just needs a few improvements. Thank you.
