Stayed one night at the Amaroossa Bogor. I was actually a bit disappointed, due to several reasons: 1. Only one elevator was functioning, so getting on and off the elevator required a long wait, especially on a weekend. 2. Upon checking in, the bathroom smelled really bad, so I had to call the housekeeping staff to clean it. 3. The breakfast menu wasn't very varied for a 5-star hotel. It was pretty basic, like a 3-star hotel breakfast (some 3-star hotels even have more variety). And my goodness, the white rice was so dry, some grains were almost raw when I ate it. Hopefully, it will improve in the future. Thank you.

The hotel staff was friendly, but some of the facilities needed improvement: the hot water in the shower wasn't hot, so we had to shower with cold water. Breakfast items ran out quickly and took too long to be refilled, and spoons and cutlery took too long to be refilled.

This hotel has a great location, close to the Botanical Gardens. Botani Square is right across the street. It's easy to get everywhere, and there are plenty of culinary options. The rooms are very classic and a bit dated. The bathroom amenities, including the exhaust fan, didn't work, so the bathroom smell wafted into the room.
