Good place for family vacations

A hotel with a traditional atmosphere and very spacious. Access to the rooms is via golf cart, a fun experience for children. Facilities for families with children are quite complete, regret not bringing shoes because there is a good jogging track. I booked two rooms, in both rooms the AC was leaking and water was dripping. After being informed, the response was quick to check and repair even though the floor was still wet in the morning (there was still a small drip). Breakfast was also mostly empty at 9 am and took a long time to refill. Is it because it was Eid al-Fitr so there were fewer staff?

I always stay at Balemong hotel whenever I visit Semarang. What I really like about this place is the amazing staff; everyone is friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. My favorite room is Room 403. It has a beautiful view overlooking the mountains and rice fields, which makes the stay even more relaxing. Overall, this hotel consistently gives me a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

Probably need more lights in Room & specially in Bathroom also need more clean up work and nice smell of aromatheraphy will be awsome and make perfect comfy rather than old house/musty smell

Highly recommended, the concept is joglo. Very homey, the cleanliness of the service is sooooo satisfying. Moreover, the initiative can be given a birthday gift without asking. Hopefully I can come back here again with other extended families…

The stay was pleasant, we took our family for dinner at the in-house restaurant. Our family members were happy with the foods and ambience. We felt Hopewell! We'll come back for sure.

Beautiful, comfortable, cool, fresh place, ancient Javanese joglo building, the room smells a bit musty when you first enter, some of the room paint is already moldy, the food is quite tasty, some of the female employees are not very friendly, the male employees are very friendly & give their best service.

The shower in the bathroom has problems with hot and cold water.

Great location and atmosphere to stay with family. I like the hotel theme with classic traditional design, and its antiques. The hotel is surrounded by rice fields and scenery, you can rent a bike or go jogging in the morning.

For the room there was no problem, the breakfast that I knew was open buffet turned out to be a la carte maybe because on the day I stayed there were only a few guests but overall it was really okay, thank you Melva Balemong, always successful.

The hotel staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean and comfortable. Those who don't have WiFi have a bad connection.

My first experience of staying at the Melva Balemong hotel, I really liked the many facilities apart from the nice garden, the Joglo house knick-knacks and ornaments were really cool, and the staff and hotel manager Mr. Susilo were really friendly, basically the best hotel during our 7 day holiday around Java.
