I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor. The room was not clean, the service was so-so.

Friendly staff, location close to the airport, airport shuttle service is a plus.

Upon check-in, the door wouldn't lock from the inside. After reporting this to the front desk, we were moved to another room, but the hot water in that room didn't work. The hot water problem was also reported to the front desk, but nothing was done for two nights until check-out. This is the first time I've experienced this kind of situation in my experience staying at Sahid Timor Kupang.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and the hotel's appearance in the pictures was very convincing, but it turned out the hotel did not match the pictures in the app. Breakfast was not a buffet, only a few choices were delivered to the room. The bathroom was very dirty, especially the toilet was yellow. I asked for help cleaning it and was finally offered a room with a dirty toilet, although not as dirty as the first room. Please pay attention to the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom and toilet.

I stayed from January 31, 2026 to February 1, 2026. I deliberately chose this place to stay overnight because it was quite close to the airport and there was an airport shuttle. I had an early morning flight on February 1 at 6:35 and had ordered to be woken up at 4 and wanted to use the shuttle service to the airport. They explained the first schedule was at 4:30. On the morning of February 1, I was not woken up and I got ready and checked out at 4:33. Confirmation to the reception at that time said the shuttle had just left then the receptionist added again that they were very punctual and I should have been ready 15 minutes before the shuttle schedule. I was okay then ordered a grab. My Grab didn't arrive long after (4:34 AM), but when I went to the parking lot to meet the Grab, the shuttle was still there and was getting ready to leave for the airport. I felt lied to. In fact, the shuttle and I arrived at Kupang El Tari Airport together. Next time, please check the receptionist's departure carefully. I deliberately chose this hotel for easy access to the airport, but I was disappointed like this.
