Everything was very good, starting from luggage service, room, reception service and until the end of the stay, breakfast was very varied and more than enough, very informative for communication, hopefully next time we can stay again at Hotel Merapi Merbabu, thank you.

I've been here several times and always stayed in the suite. Not much expectation, a smile is enough. From Bandung to Jogja 10 hours is quite tiring, in the afternoon at 5 check-in with a tired face, the receptionist (the one with the mouth covered, yes, ma'am, not the ears) is wearing a mask. Several times asked who the name is, I said the name 3 times but still couldn't hear, even though she spoke softly. The lady finally asked for an ID card, still confused ma'am until her friend helped, finally okay after a long time because the lady was confused herself didn't know why. Oh, they still asked for our flat, it was parked downstairs and not everyone remembered even though they had their own, finally my husband went down again. After being extra patient until we got the key, we were independent, and even the children were asked to help carry the luggage because there was not a single staff member who came and was seen, wow that's rare. Positive think, maybe they were busy. Note: be friendlier like hotels in general, thanks🙏. Overall I will definitely come back again.

The bathroom smells bad so the whole room smells bad from the drains

Initially the AC in the room was not cool enough, but you can ask to move rooms.

The place is clean. Staff is friendly. The place is near what we need for staycation.

The employees' quick response when there was a complaint and immediately provided a solution, that's really cool.

The swimming pool is clean, the room is comfortable, but the balcony is a bit dirty and the AC leaks on the floor so it's a bit wet, so far it's really good for those who want to staycation with their family.

The hotel is quite old, the facilities need to be improved, such as the smart TV and shower that need to be replaced, the breakfast variety also needs to be improved, the breakfast policy for children under 5 years is only 1 child, an extra charge of 100 thousand for adding breakfast, which in my opinion has little variety, is not worth it.
