There are no coffee facilities in the rooms. Sorry, this is a 2-star hotel, but why does it look like OYO? Everywhere else in the world, coffee, tea, water, and a water heater are provided in the rooms.
Coffee has to be served at the restaurant, and you're charged 20,000 Rupiah per cup. Breakfast wasn't provided, even though no rooms were listed on the app when I booked (only one room option was available, the superior room).
At first, I thought it was because the dates were full, but I tried a simulation on random dates and only found one room type available.
Breakfast costs 40,000 Rupiah per person. So it seems like someone is registering a room without breakfast on Traveloka to add breakfast costs to all customers who book through the app.
Imagine bringing a toddler and a husband and wife for breakfast for three, it costs 120,000 Rupiah. I'd be better off eating at KFC!
Oddly enough, when I extended my room for the same price, we GOT BREAKFAST.
To the hotel's top management, please eliminate this corrupt system and review the work of the people under your leadership. Just make sure everyone gets breakfast, even if it costs extra. Instead of having guests walk into the restaurant like beggars looking for food and asking for fees, create a simple system that makes things easier for visitors.
Don't make prices seem competitive just to attract customers via an app, when they're actually expensive!
Additional information:
1. They asked for three refills of towels and drinking water, and they were delivered, even when we were no longer in the room. We waited until 11 a.m., but they still didn't arrive. It's a complete privacy violation!
2. We were charged Rp 100,000 upon checkout for moving two beds together. We've never been extorted like this in our entire stay at a star-rated hotel. If the staff had good intentions, why didn't they tell us when they entered the room to refill? We were suddenly extorted upon checkout. Truly depraved.
3. The only decent thing was the security guard, who was friendly and polite. The rest was a MESS.
