It is fine for staying one night. The place is clean; the staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurant food is ok. I am vegetarian and they accommodated to my needs.

When I go to Pekalongan, I always stay at the Nirwana Pekalongan Hotel, it's close to everything, including the town square and the batik market.

Imagine at 12 midnight while you were sleeping and suddenly it was so painful, do you know why? At 12 midnight the hotel was fogged IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND WITHOUT NOTICE, finally the whole night the room smelled really bad of the fogging smoke, who knows what was on their minds, it was a hotel, in the middle of the night they were resting. Helpful staff..Comfy hotel in my hometown. Peak season always crowded. But please pay attention to old rooms and the stuffs inside. Please warn the smokers and people who eat durians in the room. Smell so bad infecting the non smoking room. Thanks
