The price was very good for breakfast, and the coffee was delicious. The staff was friendly and kind, and I was allowed to check out at 2:00 PM because it was Friday. Unfortunately, the room smelled like a public toilet. Every few minutes, air leaked from the toilet hole, making a loud, disturbing sound, along with the distinct smell of a toilet/septic tank. The sounds of people outside the room filtered in, disrupting my sleep.

My go-to hotel for business trips to Banda Aceh. The food is delicious and varied, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Hot and cold water is available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Late check-in and check-out requests always go smoothly. A recommended hotel for you and your family when visiting Banda Aceh.

The hotel is very clean, the lobby area smells good, close to the culinary and souvenir areas, close to the Grand Mosque.

This is my second stay here, and no matter how many times I go to Banda Aceh, I'll always stay here. I left my night's tab when I checked in and only realized it the next morning when I was about to check out. It was apparently kept at the front desk. 😍

My wife and I are from Sulawesi and stayed here for an event. The hotel's location is quite strategic, there are two buildings... the old and new buildings, I happened to stay in the old building on the second floor. The shower was a bit mossy and the toilet was too old, maybe it should be serviced and cleaned. What I felt most uncomfortable was the AC, it seemed to have a timer so every 1-2 hours it automatically turned off and it was quite disturbing to sleep, but I didn't complain to the receptionists because I was too tired. But other than that, everything was fine, it was safe and comfortable. Thank you Hip Hope Hotel

I've stayed here three times during my trip home to Aceh. I was upgraded to a deluxe room yesterday. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and tidy. I'll be back here again, God willing, next time I go home. Thank you.

Friendly and very helpful during the check-in process, even able to provide an alternative solution at that time by upgrading the room on the 1st floor to make it easier for the elderly.
