Staycation with family at Hotel Alia Matraman. The hotel atmosphere is quite comfortable. The most memorable thing when entering this hotel is the lobby which is very fragrant. The facilities are also quite complete. There is a swimming pool, entertainment room (provided playstation and dance2 revolution), restaurant. For an affordable price, the food provided is quite diverse. There is a wide selection of food and drinks. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor sections. They also provide coffee machines and instant powdered drinks. The desserts are also varied. Basically, all the staff are very friendly and very quick when asked for help. It's just a shame that during check-in, the receptionist was a bit unfriendly, maybe because there were many people wanting to check in but she was working alone. The room key doesn't have a room number, so we can forget which room number we were in. As a result, besides me, there were two other families who ended up having to ask the receptionist again for their room number 😅. Well, the receptionist also didn't explain where the restaurant is located or what time breakfast is open on weekends or weekdays. Breakfast usually ends at 10, but on weekdays it only lasts until 9 (luckily, they call at 8 to remind us of the breakfast deadline). A special experience staying here is the room, which is quite large and comfortable. The bathroom is also quite spacious and doesn't smell musty at all. There are a few shortcomings in the room. There are two electrical outlets that are not tidied up (in the bathroom and under the TV), which makes it look ugly and there is a risk of still having electricity (because they are not covered at all). If you are bringing small children like me, this is certainly a concern. However, I think the price they offer is still very affordable. The hotel's location is very strategic. Across from City Plaza Jatinegara, Batu Rawa Bening Market, and Jembatan Item Flea Market. Very close to Jatinegara Station and the Transjakarta bus stop.
