I stayed at Multazam Syariah Hotel Solo on May 4–5, 2026, taking a Deluxe Room with breakfast included and a large bed. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and has a strong sharia-compliant feel. Early check-in was also available around 1:00 PM, which was quite helpful. Parking is ample, so it's hassle-free if you bring a vehicle. The room's amenities are standard. Cool AC, fast WiFi, and a garden view, which adds a cool atmosphere. However, the TV is still basic, not a smart TV. Pillows are a bit lacking because the rooms (superior, deluxe, and executive) only come with two. Additional pillows cost around 15,000 Rupiah. What I liked was the calm and "cool" atmosphere of the hotel, as there are speakers for the Quran and the call to prayer during prayer times. The location is also strategic, close to the Assalaam Modern Islamic Boarding School in Surakarta and Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta, and you can even walk for about 5–10 minutes. However, there are a few drawbacks. The shower head wasn't strong enough, making bathing a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was also quite disappointing: the fried rice was hard, the grilled chicken was a bit burnt, the guava juice tasted too much water/ice, making it bland, and the boiled purple sweet potato was bitter. It's still okay for the price and location, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and religious atmosphere. However, the breakfast and some room details need improvement to be more optimal.

It was completely unsatisfactory. The room wasn't cool enough, and complaints weren't responded to properly, even though I'd booked several rooms and several nights. Very disappointed... terrible.

I stayed here because it was close to Dr. Soeharso Hospital. The staff was friendly, and the room and bathroom were clean. Although the hotel is older, it's well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and well-priced.

Affordable prices, satisfactory facilities

Beyond expectations, the room was incredibly large, with two bathrooms, and two bedrooms with three bedrooms. There was a living room, a pantry, and a dining table.

The bedroom is comfortable, but the shower on the first floor doesn't have a strong water flow and you have to wait a while for the water to warm up. The shower jet is positioned on the left side of the toilet, making it difficult to urinate/defecate. The bathroom lights are very dim.

The service provided by Multazzam Syariah Hotel was very pleasant. The staff and security were friendly and quick to assist.
