It was a great stay at this hotel. It's in a very strategic location.

Cheap, nice rooms, friendly staff.

The location is okay, but in Semarang, the city isn't that big. The problem is: this hotel isn't like a hotel. So if you park your private vehicle, you have to park on the floor (I forgot), then take the elevator to the lobby, and then take another elevator to the rooms. Now, if you take a taxi, you stop at the lobby, which isn't a hotel lobby, but... what is it? There's something like an office building/shopping center. And when there's an event, the parking lot in front of the lobby is packed. I don't recommend it, unless you're considering economy and the room is spacious.

So far, everything's been great, from room service to affordable prices to accessibility.

The AC wasn't cooling on one of the 9th floors. The AC remote was insulated, and the on/off button was broken. The receptionist wasn't friendly.

I had a pleasant stay at the MG Setos Hotel. The bedrooms were spacious and clean. It's centrally located, close to popular eateries. It's a great choice for a stay there.

The bathroom water jug needed replacing; it was no longer fit for use. The lid had been broken repeatedly, had been nearly scalded, and was crusty.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and regularly, but last night I was disappointed because the receptionist said smoking rooms would cost Rp 100,000. This is the first time I've ever found a hotel that requires an additional Rp 100,000 for a smoking room.

The hotel staff is friendly and polite, and the place is clean. The hotel is located in the city center, close to tourist attractions. Affordable, great value.
