The room wasn't soundproof, and the guests next door were so noisy they came in and out laughing that I couldn't sleep. The twin room was small.

I stayed here overnight for a short staycation, and overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. The location is strategic, with plenty of coffee shops nearby, making it a great place to take a leisurely stroll or find a place to hang out. The check-in process was also very smooth. I was even allowed to check in about an hour early, which was very helpful. The entire staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler, clean, and comfortable. The hot water in the bathroom worked well. You do have to request a hairdryer from the front desk, but the process was easy and not a problem. The breakfast menu wasn't extensive, but it was quite tasty. One thing to be aware of is that, due to the older building, the rooms aren't particularly soundproof. The sound of people walking or talking in the hallway was still quite audible from inside. It wasn't a big deal for me, but it might be worth considering for guests who are sensitive to sound. The check-out process was also quick and efficient. Even though I only stayed one night, I enjoyed my stay here. With good service and a strategic location, Hotel Khas Semarang can be a comfortable choice for short stays or business trips in Semarang.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room was quite spacious. There were prayer robes, prayer mats, and a Quran in the room. A real plus.

Everything was good, but in room 705 that my husband and I occupied, the side of the mattress near the window was a bit saggy (not soft).

The food is super delicious, the breakfast is really great, and the ice cream is really delicious.

Always stay here because of the strategic location, many coffee shops around, many food stalls at night, near the market too.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, welcome drinks, ample parking, and most importantly, the lobby smells nice. The elevator smells good, too. Everything was great. I'll definitely return if I'm in Semarang again. Check-in and check-out were also quick. Breakfast was okay, with a varied selection.

There is a small addition for the smoking area, which can be combined with a cafe & coffee shop.

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately, my room's AC leaked. And my 4-year-old started paying extra for breakfast, even though most kids eat very little anyway 🥺

The only drawback is the TV, which isn't a smart TV, so amenities are lacking. The suites also lack smart TVs, and there's no refrigerator. There's a minibar, but it's not cold.

From check-in, I was greeted by a friendly team and check-in was quick. The hotel's ambiance is very modern, albeit a bit minimalist. The room was clean, from the bed to the sink to the bathroom. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Oh yes, the hotel's location is very strategic, with many culinary options at night, and it's close to everything. A must-stay at KHAS if you're ever in Semarang.
