Disappointed with my recent stay at Golden Bay Hotel Batam. Initially, the staff were friendly and service was good, but it quickly turned sour at check-out. The front desk insisted we need the payment receipt during check in to get our deposit back, and when we couldn't produce it, they were unhelpful and argumentative. Not once did they inform us to keep the receipt. Moreover, the room was dirty, especially on the lower floors. Not what we expected for the price. Hope they address these issues to improve guest experience 🙅
