A delightful staycation experience, with plenty of activities and activities to enjoy within the hotel itself. The ambiance and room facilities are also very comfortable.

First time staying here, the room was comfortable and clean, but the shower needs some repairs (there's a leak in the ceiling when the water is on). As a suggestion, some of the garden areas need to be tidied up to make it look more beautiful. The food is delicious (both in the restaurant and breakfast). Suitable for a family vacation.

The swimming pool is amazing, with a direct view of nature, which my nephew loved. The hotel staff are all very friendly. This hotel is the best.

Get a room with a direct animal view

The place is comfortable, perfect for families, especially children. I especially liked the swimming pool, where you can see giraffes up close. However, the location is far from the crowds, making it difficult to find food and snacks. Food and snacks are only available at the hotel, and I found them quite pricey, so I saw many hotel guests bringing in outside food.

It's already good, please improve. Previously, we got discounted entry to Taman Safari, but now we don't. Hotel prices have gone up, but the facilities are the same. The food is good, with better taste and variety than when I stayed a few months ago. Good job, competitive spirit.

We're a group of 5 people from Malaysia and stayed for 2D1N. Everything was superb; starting from our advanced WhatsApp bookings to the helpful staff, great hotel facilities, awesome breakfast spread (of course halal & Muslim-friendly) and ultimately, our breakfast experience with the cute giraffes (Kamil and Zahara)! Overall, 1000/10 would recommend this place. Thank you Baobab Safari for the memories, wish we could stay longer! Note: If you drive or have a tour guide that brings you around, feel free also to chill at Kafe Hutan Cempaka, Prigen just 15-20 minutes away from the hotel.

Very fresh and enjoyable.

When we checked the hotel price, it was listed at IDR 1.3 million. After selecting a room, the price, plus tax, was IDR 4.5 million for two rooms. I don't know why it was such a huge difference. From the initial photo, we thought every breakfast would be accompanied by giraffes, but it turns out that breakfast sessions with giraffes require a pre-booked fee, and it's not cheap. The safari view wasn't as good as we expected either.

The omelet was already halfway through and still had bits of eggshell in it... I was confused. It's true that if you get eggshell in, just one bite is enough. But how come even halfway through the omelet, you still have bits of eggshell in there?

Satisfied, close to Surabaya. Close to Taman Dayu. Close to Tretes. Close to Taman Safari.

I found the reception staff unfriendly because they seemed in a rush, to the point that I left my ID card behind when I checked out. They didn't inform me when I checked out whether I still had my ID card, or is it the rule to leave it behind at check-in? In my experience at other hotels, my ID card was immediately returned upon check-in. They offered to send it via courier, but they kept delaying it, even though my ID card is important. The staff at the additional activities were also unfriendly when asked, as were the staff at the children's services like face painting and hair wraps. The restaurant service was friendly and the food was delicious.
