Looking for a comfortable hotel for families, this is the perfect choice. The staff is friendly, the food is varied, and delicious. It's a 3-star hotel with a swimming pool. The rooms are also comfortable. If there's one downside, it's the hotel's location in a warehouse area, so walking around the hotel for food isn't easy, especially at night, as it's very quiet. I might return here if I go to Surabaya again.

My second staycation here, 3 days and 2 nights. Last time I took the most economical room. It was very comfortable to sleep in. I felt very restful, especially since I needed a lot of rest. HK was also proactive in offering to clean the room. The only downside was the breakfast menu. It wasn't very varied. There was no soup. I was hoping for pasta since there were a lot of foreigners staying there, but it wasn't. It was available on the à la carte menu.

The smorgasbord breakfast was wonderful, however, other meals I had in the restaurant were disappointing. I had the seafood cap cay and it had one piece of seafood in it. I should know better than to order pizza in Indonesia, the pizza was terrible compared to what I'm used to in Australia. I ordered Mie Goring and it was wayyy too oily. If something is not available on the menu, the best time to tell the guest is when they first sit down, rather than the guest deciding on a dish and then be told that it is not available. I had to wait for too long for some dishes that I ordered. The kitchen service staff were wonderful, as were all of the staff. The service was outstanding.

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. The rooms are nice and comfortable. If I go back to Surabaya, I'll definitely stay at Kokoon Hotel again.
